I saw Neil Diamond when I was in high school with my Mom and friend. My Mom and I literally camped out overnite in CT to get tickets. His concert was fun and introduced me to his talent. I am thrilled that today he is one of the greats. He is his own man like Bruce Springsteen, Tina Turner etc. Today's artists aren't anywhere close. I know some have talent, but when you talk about Neil, the Stones, Elvis you are speaking about legends and icons. Thanks for posting.

Yes - it was a pity Neil became so MOR (read into that Vegas) in the mid 70s. The only strings should be on his guitar - not on syrupy violins. It is a travesty that Diamond's songwriting output from the mid-60s to the time of his 'retirement' from live work in 1972 are so often overlooked and that critics have tended to view him as a schlock artist. Rick Rubin has put Neil back on the right track since 2005 but my God Neil - for 20 years we stuck by you knowing the 'old' Neil would return!!

The best rock vsong from this concert is him doing holly holy- that should be up here- gawd that rocks- the people went nuts!
