Wow, I was there in August of 2004...so long ago. I was impressed with the exhibits of the equipment and the pictures.

My travels took me into Philadelphia Penna. last year and i visited the Philadelphia Fire Departments Museum Of History located in the "Old City" section of the city and was very impressed. Lots to see and touch as well as learn about. As in Denver, the museum is located in a historic fire station. The city has maintained the original old fire equipment on display and not only in the museum but on display throughout the city in lobbies of some of the highrise office buildings.
