It's good for medicinal purposes, but I don't think it should be abused. My former neighbour used to smoke up constantly, like all day. That's too much. Hemp is great for building things, eating, and treating ailments. This guy looks like a pot-head, but has an amazingly clear mind! Better than me and I don't smoke pot! There's a testimony for you right there.

Medical uses of pot are fine, but I don't like mixing up the medical benefits with arguments for recreational use. Recreational use of pot can easily be defended on its own without associating it with medical benefits. No one OD's on pot (unlike alcohol) and it doesn't make anyone violent (unlike alcohol) and it doesn't form strong physical dependencies (unlike alcohol) so there is no reason to continue prohibition against it. Just my opinion and I'm an alcoholic who doesn't even smoke pot.

@Aargh28 Before, during & after the Prohibition, Temperance Unions understood cannabis as the Gateway herb from heavy drug use back to the Promised Land. If you want to be free of alcohol addiction, they urged, use cannabis for Salvation & Redemption. Cannabis spiritual roots run deep in America. A long history of hemp cultivation.

DuPot. Or DuPont. There is no question. I always choose mother nature because that's the way of the Divine. The corporate approach is death. Dupont chooses toxins and death.. the path to hell. It wouldn't be so bad if they kept their toxins to themselves. DuPont knew 30 years ago that Teflon causes cancer and yet still marketed that toxic product.
