i use ZillaTube. ZillaTube downloads youtube videos to your computer desktop. To play the file anytime, just drop it into Zillatube - simple as 1 2 3. :)
Does anyone happen to know whether there's any way to adjust the viewing SPEED of a YouTube clip? For example on Windows Media Player or WinDVD, one can view something at 1.5x or 2x or other speeds. I'd be grateful for any info. Mozart8425@webtv.net.
When you watch the video to the end, you'll find a big file in Opera9's cache in c:\program file\opera\profile\cache4, copy and rename it to *.FLV file, then you can play it with any FLY media player...

You can also download by just adding the word 'want' in the URL (ie: '....ww.youtube.....' -> '...ww.wantyoutube...')

zillatube is not fre, I use a free programe named flv downloader,It can help you download videos quickly. Works great. just google search it

Use Opera 9.0 to browser Youtube, and the video file will be put into Opera's cache directory, very easy to find it!
