The PS Vita isn't going to do very well. It costs too much, it's pretty inconvenient with the memory cards and the profile things, and the touch controls are pointless. I can kind of understand the touch screen, but a touch back as well? What is the point of that? And why have all that stuff when it's got loads of buttons AND dual analogue sticks already? Sony is just trying to have their cake an eat it. There's no point having such an expensive dedicated handheld when we have smartphones now.

I will play anything that shows depth and creation of new ideas in the videogame medium so I will almost definitely get a Vita (even if it will be a year or so after release when I have the money). I will always be blunt when knocking down a series, game or console to this regard if they do not help videogaming be as influential and amazing as it can be. It is my problem with mobile games - they are so shallow and insulting the industry and I have wanted them to prove me wrong for 5 years now.

This a cross over with the Japanese series Nobunga's Ambition which is a hardcore real time strategy game somewhere between the Starcraft and Shogun series with a hint of Fire Emblem mixed in. The scarce gameplay of this spinoff though hints it to be a much simpler series more like Fire Emblem with Nobunaga's Ambition characters. Still little information at the moment.

I am not sure on the vita honestly. If it cannot play PS1 classics, why bother? Sure they may have some good games coming out, but I think I will wait a year before buying it, see how it sells, see how it handles, see how it honestly stacks up and is worth it, I have a 3DS and yeah...well, I have learned my lesson.

I Got a 3ds last week with ocorina of time and holy shit it's amazing. Battery life isnt as bad as everyone says, 3d is great, love the analog stick. Couldn't be better for a Nintendo ds. I will wait on the vita and see what games come out. I have never had a sony gaming device before.
