Good singer but doesn't dominate the group of men. The character of Sky is supposed to be the alpha male, slightly unpredictable and dangerous, undisputed topdog of the gamblers; he's the one who's bet the most, lost the most and won the most out of all of them. Great singer but I would have preferred a more aggressive performance.

So lets ignore the fact that this song is more of Sky's inner monologue and that he is showing weakness as he is betting to win the heart of Sarah Brown (indirectly). A song in doesn't have to be in context of the progressed story, characters never develop through a storyline, that would make too much sense.
