It's totally amazing how strong and beatiful Jess n Leslie friendship was. She gave him the power to move on with his life even after she died. He just continues what she showed him and taught him, builds a bridge to the next stage of his life and he will surely keep her alive in his heart for ever. The best thing that story is based on a real one, with David Paterson and Lisa Hill. Katherine Paterson wrote the book on which movie is based in memory of Lisa Hill and for her son. Really touching

Okay, done watching. The movie reminds me of the grand plans and schemes I used to make with friends at that age.

Needless to say, it never was quite as dramatic and 'fantasy-ish' as this but nonetheless. And while all the tragedy and nostalgia didn't make me cry it made me feel a bit weird. I was planning on hanging out with friends tonight, but I think I might take a bus to the forest where we used to play our games when we were young...

This movie is such a great movie, it isn't only one of my favorites but its also an huge inspration for me!

You know, I have behind my back garden a forest to, not so big.. But my friend and I where always playing in it like it was some battlefield xD, with sticks and stuff.

Not that I was that close with my friend or anything, Its just great to be able to make things up!!

I hope everyboddy sees the meaning of this movie, and just say; sucks that leslie died... Because theres alot more....

@Rayzsion Yeah Leslie died at about 60 out of the 90 minutes into the movie.. that's a whole 1/3 left of the movie. And when i watched this with a few of my friends, they weren't crying because they wanted to act "cool", but i couldn't resist crying during some of the scenes.

The only problem I have with this movie is that it was advertised as a fantasy world movie. But really is a life lesson movie. Which only kids over the age of 12 would really be able to enjoy. Anything under that age, would dislike this movie because there is no magic that they were looking for when they watched the trailers on TV.

Because of it, Leslie went to Terabithia alone and died. And although it was never his fault, he feels responsible. Thats what he meant by inviting her next time, because if she went along, she wouldnt have died

I have such mixed feelings about this film. I almost feel as though I was in Josh's shoes throughout most of the story. I can really relate to both characters, so I really felt his loss when that happened. I guess all I think now is "Why did it have to end that way?" Say what you will, but personally, I think sad endings are unneeded for a story like this.
