A new article titled, "IMBRA: Anatomy of a hoax" shows how Brownback was manipulated by the liberal women's groups and other lefties. Senator Cantwell made a startling claim at a Senate hearing that matchmaking services serve as a nefarious front for "International Trafficking of women" and so Brownback was snookred signing on as a leading co sponsor of the International Marriage Broker Regulation Act...
Senator Brownback's absurd 'Intl Romance Regulation Act' prevents marriage between a MAN and a WOMAN. So not only is he opposed to gay marriage, he's opposed to heterosexuals getting married. In fact, it is now a felony for an American man to say 'Hello' or write a friendship letter to woman in a foreign country.
cattlechick380, well Senator Brownback appears to be against STRAIGHT marriage as well. Now it is a felony for heterosexuals to communicate, write friendship letters, or even to say 'Hello' to foreigners. You can thank Senator Brownback for the appalling, blatantly UNCONSTITUTIONAL 'Intl Romance Regulation Act'.
Brownback isn't for gay marriage which offends me and every canidate has his faulties so calm down. But I love this guy's opinions and views and promises.
This guy is unfit to ever be President. His draconian, unconstitutional 'Intl Romance Regulation Act' makes it a felony for law-abiding Americans to write freindship letters with foreigners. How absurd! His partnership with the wacko, radical Bahai feminist organization Tahirih Justice Center needs to be investigated.
For those of you who have not kept up on the Presidential Race in Iowa, Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, & all the other candidates are fearful & worried about Brownback. Brownback is going to dominate Romney on Aug. 11th & thats simply b/c Sam has morals, he stands by them, he's not a flip-flopper on his socail issues, & he can relate to the people of Iowa. We don't want to here your bitching & your snide remarks come Aug. 12th when Sam takes 1st in Ames! So don't be whack, back Brownback!
Problem with Brownback is his immigration stance - he is too far left on immigration. He voted for Amnesty.
I am a Pro Lifer no exceptions, but there are alot of good Pro-Lifers in the Republican Party that also understand immigration. Its time for Europe and China to help out the world, the USA is in deep trouble and we need help ourselves. America First
Only after he knew it wab't going to pass, and if you look at his votes during the whole thing, he voted for alot of amnesty proposals, only at the very end did he decide he better not vote for it
No actually Brownback came out and said, that he wanted three amendments to the bill. If those three were not put into it, he was going to vote against it. Guess what? Those three were not put into it. So he voted against it. You guys act like you are geniouses about him
brownback is just...so dumb and he's just a social issues candidate. also, he always sounds like he's talking down to his supporters. besides, this video is bullshit. 'this is a youth run campaign.' that's the first time he's said that. he's not winning any states in the primaries. and certainly not Ames. 4th at best.
Oh yeah being just a social issues candidate is stupid. First of all it is not true. He is the only candidate that is across the board a conservative. He is moderate and reasonable on immigration. Okay so you must support either Tancredo or Giuliani. I would go with Tancredo. I think that you need to focus more on other issues than just immigration.
weird, i haven't mentioned immigration. you're the one interested in discussing it.
anyway, back to sam brownback, he's a lackluster candidate who talks about abortion for 80% of the time in each speech. he believes in government legislating morality--he wants abortion banned across the united states. that is not a conservative position--a conservative would want to leave the issue up to the states.
abortion not a big problem? 50 million killed. Not a big deal. Would you consider Abraham lincoln a conservative, because he was in the republican party who wanted an amendment banning slavery. I know he wasn't that stuck on slavery, but he did favor it being banned all across the country not just in the states.
its a blessing to see young people getting involved in the political process. and with an awesome candidate who is pro-life go sam brownback!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude...I found this by typing in Ice cream Social.....Why does he care? Why, he's giving you Ice cream..heh heh heh

cornshucker.... Please get Brownback the nomination. After 8 years of Bush, the nation would never elect another "Fire and Brimstone" President.
Sam Brownback could never win over moderates. He'll scare them away. Please vote for Sam Brownback. He's the Hillary Clinton of the Republican Party!

besides that, he's an unappealing candidate who has done strikingly little in the senate. i said 4th at best at Ames, and that's the truth.
