  • The US likes to make excuses when losing to Mexico, complaining about the Altitude and the heat.... if I'm mistaken didn't they play against Mexico at night when it snowed a few days before?

  • MNT!! mutan ninja turtles vs Mexico

  • Dayum Why are they using the Oxygen Tanks?

I seriously doubt the Mexicans are using them.

  • Can someone explain to me why they use oxygen tanks?

  • @AmandaWithLov3 @dirtybunny987 The Azteca is at an extremely high altitude and the players need to get used to the lower oxygen. Most of the Mexican players play in Mexico so they didn't need it, however, the Mexicans playing abroad still needed the tanks.

  • @AmandaWithLov3 it says right there because of the altitude the us does not have a high altitude, therefore if you go to mexico your going to have hard time breathing because of the low oxygen and add the fact that mexico has the most polluted oxygen.

  • wow the roar is amazing!!

  • USA will win next year.

  • Wow Mexican fans are Crazyyyy tough croud but beautiful video loved it

  • Wow Mexican fans are Crazyyyy tough croud but beautiful video loved it

  • 6:40

    "Tirale" (shoot it)

    Best stadium in the world.

  • just amazing..

  • I'm not going there without a police escort.

  • bob cursing? i love it!

  • 40*** corner kick**

  • There was like 4 cups thrown at Donovan in the corner ice LOLOLO

  • They egged their bus?! Lmao

  • I gotta tell you, The Azteca has a very hostile atmosphere to all visitors, not just the US. I dont think the US will ever get a victory against 100 000 people cheering to the local team like that. However it was a great match and I loved the video, nice job!

  • Ah that boy Charlie Davies!!!

  • i wonder how it feels to walk out the bus and have hundreds of police stoppin or in the way of the mex fans... at 1:25.. viva mex

  • 6:40 LOVE THAT SOUND!!

  • jaja al principio deme permiso joveneeeEEES...chilangote

  • Whats up with the Confederate Flag at 1:26???

  • Thanks US Soccer for deleting my comment with no explanation! :)

  • Poor Landon was playing this game while he had the swine flu. To make matters worse they had to play in the high elevated and polluted Mexico City.

From 8:57-9:13, that was uncalled for by the Mexican fans. Some of them have no class or respect. I may be Mexican, but I'm a die hard USA fan till I die. USA USA USA!!!!

  • @coldassassin99 hahah dude thats how football is! I would likeee to see USA play in argentina so they can see how badly theyll get treated over there lo.

  • Got to admit it was pretty cool seeing the Mexican fans celebrate after they scored a goal. They went crazy!

  • LOVE these videos

  • Que de huevos!

  • think about this even though we lost. you had the better character?

  • @zmanutd15 Yes, Mexico did have the better character, like always.

  • haha i live in toluca, its like 40 minutes from mexico city, here the altitude is over 8,500 feet and we have a soccer team in PRIMERA DIVISION (diablos rojos) so its funny to me watching athletes using oxigen tanks, although i totally understand

  • @bsandersv i always wanted to visit toluca how is it

  • Mexico VS USA, its a real Derby, like brasil vs argentina, england vs france etc

  • I really like these types of videos; thanks for posting!

  • @LoMejorDeCruzAzul haha I bet! Don't get me wrong, I've met some cool Mexico fans as well, but there are fans like that who take it way too far. I can only imagine what Brazil/Argentina is like!

  • USA #1!

  • I remember this was a really good game, the US played good in the azteca, they get my respect

    viva mexico!

    Viva uSA!

  • @WoolyWoolwine83 dude lol i im talking about the fans!! why does u.s fans have a chant that says "we hate mexico more than you" c'mon tell me thats not disrespectful of course mexican fans are going to do something about it!

  • @potrokiko Because there are other countries in CONCACAF (such as Honduras, Costa Rica, El Salvador, etc.), who hate Mexico as well (more so because they've been the CONCACAF giant for so many years now.). It's more of a "friendly rival" chant., if you get what I mean.

  • @WoolyWoolwine83

Against Mexico , Its Never Going To Be Friendly Period

  • Love these behind the scene vids!

  • Thanks for finally posting this. I was beginning to think that this behind the scene's segment was just skipped.

  • I like these behind the scenes videos

  • Oxygen tanks in Mexico City? I wonder what they do in Quito?

  • @GreatInca Or La Paz for that matter!

  • Still can't wait till Gringos at The Gate comes out. Great perspective though.

  • obviously an unfair advantage...maybe we can get a stadium on top of rushmore!

  • Stay classy Mexican ultras... Stay classy...

  • great video.

  • azteca is so big and BEAUTIFUL

  • USA did an alright job considering that it was in a stadium where Mexico hasnt lost in over 45 years. Give these guys some credit

  • @s0ccer96 Well, they did lose to Costa Rica in a qualifier for the 2002 World Cup, but so far that is their only loss (I believe) at the Azteca

  • Mexico, its team, and its fans are all dirty. USA all the way!

  • @lowtide3 usa, its a team, and its fans are racism and disprectful. germany all the way!

  • @potrokiko hahaha! :D

  • they show the replay of davies goal but not mexicos. wow. dont get mad cuz u guys lost.

  • wow

  • Wow no wonder it's so hard to win in Azteca elevation like that makes it hard to play. Plus the weather must be tough too... partly cloudy with a chance of trash :(

  • @VampireHiryu hahaha no you're almost right, except it's a 100% chance of trash--and when they change the game time to the heat of the day instead of the original afternoon time--they're sure to breathe in the glorious combination of nastiness and muck that is mexico city :)

don't get me wrong, i'm from LA so i know all about that...

  • @fickole Fool, LA is nothing like Mexico City. Mexico City is like twice more in everything, more populated, more dangerous in some parts, and very beautiful in a few more, alot more use of public transportation and ALOT more pedestrians. But waht else can you expect from an urban city? And one so huge. LA is big, but Mexico City clears it.

  • @fickole haha you can not compare LA to mexico city hahah are you kidding me

    its like 100* bigger hahaha

  • @VampireHiryu

Also a little something more than just thinking you deserve to win is needed. Other teams have beat Mexico here... including England.

  • i miss ching

  • Any place where fans throw trash on the field is trash.

  • Amazing perspective! I've always wanted to go to Azteca and watch the US play against Mexico, and if the day ever comes when the Yanks beat the Mexicans in Azteca, may God have mercy on the poor American fans who are in the stadium at that time.

  • @TheOneandOnlyAmateur AS MUCH AS I WOULD WANT THEM TO WIN THERE! this is a reason I dont want them to, becuz of the fans as well as the players there's no telling what they might do.

  • @TheOneandOnlyAmateur Well don't get Mexico mixed up with countries like Poland or Brazil where there's constant riots because their team lost. Here's a perspective of American fans at that same Azteca game being gaurded by mexican police because they are acting like idiots in a foreign country

    watch?v=TrptcgJ0PL4

  • @TheOneandOnlyAmateur Ha nah only if they start talking big on the way out of the game, which is very likely ha

  • @TheOneandOnlyAmateur Well I Can tell you that if the US had any good chance of beating Mexico in the Azteca it was that one and theey couldnt so it probably wont happeen

  • @TheOneandOnlyAmateur I think the USMNT has enough talent to get a result with Mexico at Azteca, they just don't play with enough heart and they give up too easily with the altitude and the crowd noise. Mexico wins because they want it more. If only the US played every game like they way they played the 2nd half of their Friendly against Mexico in Philadelphia in August, I think they'd really create some good chances for themselves.
