@whisperkin It didn't really turn into a Bulbasaur, its sprite did in the Hall Of Fame. This is a side effect of the ZZAZZ glitch. :)

The ZZAZZ glitch must act differently depending on the special stat, right?

I did the ZZAZZ glitch with a special stat of 253 and the results were very different. I did it again with a special stat of 255 and the results were similar to this, except my game crashed if I tried to heal my pokemon. Also...I did it from Lavender Town and when the poison flash happened, the music changed to something freaky sounding.

You should try with specials 252 and 254, they are the most stable ones. Even with them, the game can crash though. Try emptying your inventory, it worked for me to avoid the crash. Close to nothing is known about the side effects of this glitch, it may have very different behaviors depending on the location you are and even the way you walk through the map.

@originalgyarados OMG sry for replying so late, youtube didn't warn me of your comment.

The glitches I uploaded require me to fight a pokemon with an extraordinary high special stat, and these pokemon are very hard to find in the wild, so I get a pokemon with the stat I need and fight a Ditto, which mimics the stats of my pokemon.

i know that a pokeball makes yourun but if you fight he is said to be really hard to beat i wouldnt use this glitch coz i just got my new red and finished it on the way to spain lol beat gary with just lv 52 charizard and have seen 134 pokemon and have mew lol reply back i will look for that video to go straight to 100 though

Trying to fight the trainer makes the game crash, at least for me. Everytime I attacked him, my game froze.

Anyway, I only used this bug to beat the game in an unusual way. In a normal gameplay, I agree that ZZAZZ should never be used.

hmmm lv 100 kadabra that listens to him and he got with 0 badges but i understand because the zzazz trainer is nearly unbeatable so what did you use gameshark or game genie or what

I used a glitch that levels the pokemon from level 1 to level 100 immediately, there must be a video out there that explains it.

However, the reason I got the lv100 Kadabra is to have a pokemon with a special of 254 to actually start the glitch.

The trainer is not too strong, just throw a pokeball and you'll run away from him.

I did this a few years ago and my file wasn't deleted, although it was messed up. The loading time was awful and it would take like a minute just to get to an area, after I started over it was fine

Sorry, but I really have no idea. if you do this glitch, you'll lose your save file, but you can start a new game normally after that. If the game had problems right when you bought it, the cartridge is probably damaged.

I didn't fly. I just used Teleport, and I don't need any badges to do that.
