this was when my cousin was olivers manager.jimmy adams.and oliver is tough as they come.he took down 10 police officers here in martinsville before getting arrested
what happened here is that mccall thought he was better than tyson because of that first minute... then tyson got to him with the body punches... so he made excuses
@LordBillGates No more arguments, but in the mid/late 80's almost every boxing expert said Tyson was the only man who could break marcianos 49-0. Tyson is Marciano but people just seem to forget that
This footage is way before the Douglas fight, can't say for sure the exact dates but Tyson still had Kevin Rooney as his trainer in this footage so it's before he fought Spinks in 1988.
@03041976001 You forgot something about Liston and George, they lost to FAST, STRATEGIC, tall boxers, like Ali. And neither of the klitchkos are near the speed of Ali, power of big George and Liston, and don't have the heart and stamina of Frazier. And Wlad IMO would get owned by all them INCLUDING Tyson. Vitali is klitchko fans only hope and he never fought anyone on these peoples calibers. That's why he wouldn't win, because he got fucked up by Lewis, and Lewis mainly fights washed up fighters
@LordBillGates Oh yea I deffinately looked wiki for THE MOST WELL KNOWN. derp. And "a light heavyweight micheal spinks?" wasn't Marciano a heavyweight who was out weighed by a light heavyweight? LOL. Your arguments are invalid. Marciano NEVER got KO'd NEVER lost, what you gotta say about him? "oh he beat old fighters" am I correct? Oh lmao how can I forget about the precious Wlad vs Sanders, lmao everything you're trying to prove makes you look and sound more stupid by the moment. "NOOB!"
@LordBillGates your wrong Marciano was a not a good fighter but a great fighter. He had alot of heart and power. But rocco is right about Tyson being like Marciano. Respect to both men
@LordBillGates Because you are as uneducated as a down syndrome meth addict and keep saying "noob" on boxing vids. Go play call of duty where "noob" is part of their dictionary. And please, keep supporting the sisters jab their way to victory! "NOOB" LOL. Only a virgin would say klitchkos would dominate any era, I bet you think they can beat 1966 Ali too right? Or the Zaire 1974 Ali? Or Sonny Liston? Or Big George Foreman? Frazier? LOL "NOOB"
@roccoSH5 btw, I'am glad you went on Wikipedia and looked up all these HW fighters that you never saw fight. But here is a stat for you: Ali, Liston, Foreman, Frazier, and Tyson all have been KO AND LOST. Vitali Klitschko has NEVER been knocked down or out in any round. And his KO ratio is the highest of all time in HW, much better then Tyson. So keep talking trash like a NOOB with no legit arguments and keep watching your pretty Tyson KO's because that's all your little brain likes!
THE KLICHKOS NEVER FOUGHT ANYBODY. The only fighter Vitali ever fought that was worth anything was Lennox Lewis, and he didn't even win that.
Furthermore he lost to freaking Chris Byrd 4 years into his career. What the heck? These big dopes shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as Ali or Foreman
@Califacience LOL, Alright pal, I can already tell you never watched a fight. 1. the Lewis fight was stopped because of injury to Vitali's eye, in which he wanted to continue with the fight but ring doctor stopped it. 2. Lewis was losing the fight on all score cards and taking huge shots to the head, 3. Lewis didn't even give him a re-match. 4. Chris Byrd is one of the greatest Defensive heavy weights of all time and is great fighter. 5. Bryd was getting killed and losing on all scorecards too.
Do you know ANYTHING about Boxing prior to the Klitchko era because if you don't your opinion is basically worthless. Byrd is a good defensive Boxer FOR HIS TIME period. And ofcourse that's a time of slow lumbering heavyweights
Klichko never lost in any legit way? That's nice, but he never beat any fighter of any significance. As I was saying, his best opponent was an OLD Lennox lewis and he didn't even get that done
@Califacience 6. Vitali tore his acl in his shoulder and couldn't keep fighting. 7. It went 9 rounds and Bryd was getting killed. 8. His brother killed Bryd (twice) 9. Vitali has never been KO once. 10. His never lost in any legit way.
1) 1966 Ali might be too skilled and quick for the Klitschko's
2) 1974 Ali might be too crafty for the Klitschko's :-)
2) Either Klitschko would probably comfortably beat Frazier, as much as I hate to say that coz I am a huge Frazier fan. Been one since I was a kid.
3) Either Klitschko vs Sonny Liston or Big George Foreman, any of those fights would be very interesting. And remember, Liston and Foreman both had a lot of problems with, and lost to, tall and skilled boxers.
Uhh Liston and Foreman lost to CASSIUS CLAY who was a heck of a lot quicker and more skilled than either of the Klitchkos. Not 100% sure who would win, but Frazier would be a MAJOR headache for the Klitchkos. He was faster than they were, and he was a short fighter who squatted down extremely low to make himself an even smaller target. The Klitchkos are like 6' 7" and are going to have to find a way to get low and reach him without getting clocked on their way down there.
@Califacience Foreman killed Frazier and he had no skill great power yes! But not much else, the Klitchkos are far more skilled than the likes of Foreman! So I still say they would give any heavy weight a headache from any era. Now weather or not they would beat them is another matter!
Doesn't really work like that. Styles make fights. Frazier was a great fighter in his own right, but Foreman's style as a slugger was all wrong for him. Larry Holmes was a headache for Holyfield but Tyson just sparked him in four rounds, yet Holyfield takes Tyson.
There are some matches against other champions of history that will go well with for the Klitchkos, but others will just be all wrong for them because of style.
@Califacience Problem is we all look at ALi as the greatest but again he still lost 5 times! And who is to know! Look at Lewis who would have thought a bum could KO him?
Greatness In Boxing comes from defeating other great fighters, something the Klitchkos have never really done. It does not come from remaining undefeated in matches against bums. As I keep saying, Boxing is about styles, it's not that the Klitchkos are bad fighters (although they are a bit overrated by some people), they just have the wrong style for someone like Ali.
As for Lewis, Bums do sometimes cause great fighters problems, precisely because they underestimate them (Corrie Sanders)
Look Ali had a rock soild jaw, he was never koed in his entire 20 year career, so basically in order to beat him the Klitchkos would have to outbox him for 12 rounds, which is a pretty unimaginable.
Do you see the speed and skill in this clip? watch?v=DC3NMsxHDLM
Do you seriously think that the Klitchkos are going to outbox that guy?
The version of Ali in that clip down to 1966 would have dominated the Klitchkos. The Ali that fought Foreman 10 years later in 1974 would be a fairer fight. Personally I would pick Ali, but that would be a more even fight, and the Klitckos would have a chance..
@Califacience Thing you missed though is that I think the Klitchkos will hit harder! the new training, the better supliments, DRUGS blah blah blah! So saying one will defo win, well you can't really say that! Ali never faught anyone that big! So all that floating will mean nothing if he can't hit them!
Foreman (who fought in the 70's) pretty much killed the evolution argument when he came back in the 1990's and won the title again.
If the modern era is so superior even a young Foreman shouldn't have been able to compete, much less a senior citizen...shows you which era is REALLY superior. Look most Boxing experts DO NOT rank the Klichkos over Foreman and Shavers in punching power. Many would put Sonny Liston on about the same level as the Klitchkos.
@sw1000xg Uhh, why wouldn't he be able to hit two fighters 3 times slower than he is? What exactly are they going to do with their size? What advantage does it give them? We already discussed punching power. Are you talking about reach? They both actually have shorter reaches than Sonny Liston did. I am missing your point here.
@Califacience Shut the fuck up!! You obviously never boxed in your life. If you did you'd be able to answer that question. Just watch the clip and shut the fuck up. Go and ring the Samaratins if you want to talk bollocks
I HAVE Boxed before, and if you were able to answer my question you would have given one. But you apparently have nothing of substance to add to the discussion. We are talking about it presenting a challenge to Ali NOT me.
Ali took out 6''6" Ernie Terrel with Ease, and he took out men with longer reaches than the Klitchkos with ease. So what is your point? Do you have one? Don't tough talk over the internet only herbs do that, just stick to the substance
@sw1000xg you cant train to hit harder its natural, you can only learn the proper technique. you can lift all the weights and take all the supplements in the world, but if its not there its never gonna be there. thats said neither klits hit anywhere near as hard as foreman liston and shavers.
@messier991102 Yeah true! But I still say it's a different time! But boxing fans will never agree... It's like F1 I love that sport but I don't like the old days of F1 I think today the drivers would be better. Or worlds strongest man, the new would beat old all day long. But you will have others saying no they wont!
I'm missing the significance of a size advantage in this particular match though. If either Ali or the Klitchkos were inside brawlers i would see the significance, but they are both outside range Boxer-punchers. The significance of the size difference is that it gives the Klitchkos a disadvantage making them slow and lumbering by Ali's standard. The only advantage it would offer is power, but Ali has seen power equal to the Klitchkos before.
Vitaly slow? You should take a look at his fight vs. Herbie Hide. In his younger years, he was fast and always aggressive. No doubt, Ali was the better Boxer in speed and technically, but I see Vitaly win over him. He does not have a weapon to impress Vitaly, if the Ukranien want to stay out of reach he could do that whenever he want. I can only see a power puncher like Tyson or Foreman move true his defense, or same sized guys like Lewis, but not a technical boxer.
@0Turbox man please its disgusting to watch the heavyweight division now a days those klitchko brothers only reason why there on top is cos of there enormous size not to mention that they got no skill whatsoever that haye vs wladimir comeon man lol
Maybe. I dont realy care cos my weight class is from middle to light heavy. Most of the heavy weight fans want the spectacle and not the technically clean fights anyway, so I dont understand all the complaining about the Klitschkos. I rate Haye above Ali, no joke and look what happened. No skill? Seriously, someone who trains boxing for 15+ years you cant call unskilled. Maybe boring, but thats it.
@0Turbox you have no idea what the fuck you are talking about if you rate haye above ali, its not even an opinion, its just fucking ignorance. you think haye can deal with joe frazier,or foreman or liiston. ron lyle would kill haye
I see only Forman in front. All the others would lose. Ignorance? I can't stand those guys who stayed in the past. And always this rubbish about the hard hitting guys from the past, after Vitaly is done with his opponent, they look like they got rammed by a bus, opposed to these 15+ round fights who ended nearly without a scratch.
@0Turbox without a scratch? have youe seen ali frazier 1. fraziers face looked like a catchers mit, ali had a huge lumb on his cheek and he passed blood for a week and couldnt walk right because of fraziers body punishment. youre an idiot
@0Turbox THEY stay in thjr past because the heavyweight division is on its ass these days... have you seen the state of vitalis training regime !!!! no wonder why hes boring.... compare vitalis training regime to someones like marcianos or tysons...
It's amazing that some people can't see that this is absolutely the WORST era of Boxing in a long time. People aren't even watching the sport anymore except for the lighter weights (Pacquaio, Mayweather) . The fighters are mediocre and the matches are mediocre.
@Califacience It funny how you don't see that its all around us or.. its the worst era for not just boxing... but everything else. Basketball is not how it used to be, Boxing isn't how it used to be, Football isn't how it used to be, all the way down to Hip-Hop.. all hiphop sounds like electronica music now and basketball (although I still watch it) is not a physical as it used to be. Have you watched soccer? (Futbol) those players deserve an oscar for how they act! LOL
Even Sonny Liston would murder the Klitchkos. They are too big to keep away from him, and do you know what Liston does to fighters when he gets inside?
Ring Magazine "The Bible of Boxing" ranks his punching power near Mike Tyson's.
Klitchko is as slow as molasses, I have seen him fight before. That is why he could barely touch Chris Byrd. If he has so much trouble with Chris Byrd's skill and speed how is he going to catch Ali?
Have you ever seen Ali's speed in his prime? Look that this clip watch?v=DC3NMsxHDLM
The Klitchkos are just WAY too slow for that. That is the price of being as big as they are. I actually think the fight will be stopped on cuts, because Ali was very good at opening cuts.
No doubt, Ali was a gifted boxer, but this liston would be destroyed by some of the better modern fighters. He nearly telegraphed every jab in this fight. Many fights Ali stopped his dancing after the 5. round and then he would becoming a target. And really, for someone with his speed, he caught to many shots. How many times you saw a Vitaly get hit to the head?
The Ali of the 1960's didn't stop his dancing after the 5th round and that is who I'm talking about. The better modern fighters would beat Liston? There are no significant modern fighters except for the Klitchkos. The only real competition the Klitchkos ever had was an OLD Lennox Lewis. Who else do you want to name? Chris Byrd? LOL.
As for telegraphed jabs, that is what I see every time I see Vitali fight. Very slow telegraphed jabs.
@roccoSH5 LOL, goes to spellchecker mode like a NOOB RACIST becuase you have no legit arguments. Keep looking for other ways to avoid the argument NOOB and dodge me like Tyson did all the time. You win? You just got dropped like Tyson did agianst Buster Douglas. Keep watching espn and youtube vids of boxing highlights, NOOB instead seeing full fights and careers for yourself, TYSON TOOL!
@LordBillGates You obviously are uneducated by saying "noob" on a boxing vid. And who did Lewis fight that's good? An out of prime Tyson? It still took him 8 rounds LOL uneducated wetback
@roccoSH5 1 Your a racist prick. 2 Lewis was on of the most dodged fighter's of the 90's. 3 Lewis fought and beat Holyfield 4 Riddick Bowe (who Tyson wouldn't fight) dodged Lewis forever and gave him his HW belt. 4 Lewis is one of the greatest HW of all time, ask any boxing expert. 6 His fight against Tyson was just a beat down, Tyson lost every round 5 I can tell already you don't know anything about boxing because you haven't made any legit arguments, just racist comments, NOOB
@LordBillGates Vitali never got ko'd because he fights people Laila Ali can knock out LOL. and Holyfield was suppose to fight in 1990 so obviously after prison he's not the same boxer. And if you knew anything about boxing, which you don't because you think the klitchko sister are kings, you would know that Tyson didn't even train for the Douglas fight and he still lasted till the late rounds
@roccoSH5 LOL, right because Tyson fought legit fighters lol. If you knew anything about boxing: a. you know that most pee-boo fighters like Tyson don't have long careers, b. he trained very hard for the Douglas fight; Tyson and all you supporters can say all day that he wasn't ready but he weighted at his prime weight (about 215) and looked ready to go. c. He got out boxed every round and then KO cold, and d. never won a big fight again! Lewis was to scared to Klitchko remix.
Vitali Klitschko WOULD BEAT Tyson. Tyson never did well against big fighters and he didn't beat anyone. Your all just falling for his pretty espn highlight KO against no name fighters. For god sake he got KO BY BUSTER DOUGLAS, the worst HW champ ever. This sparring clip is right before their fight and their is another clip where McCall KO's Tyson cold and Don King starts to have a brick. Vitali Klitschko is one of the best HW ever and was beating Lewis, who Tyson got KO by and dodged forever.
@LordBillGates That douglas shit was a fluke.. And buster douglas was not the worst HW.. Just because he lost it right after he won it doesnt mean shit.. He lost it against a prime Holyfield, thats reasonable
@emekonen Hypocrite much? Tyson lost when he was old too! And retired too from prison! Lol smh hypocrites Tyson haters are stupider than klitchko fans
@roccoSH5 LOL Always an excuse for Tyson. He literally never fought anyone, besides an old Holmes and a great light heavy. Oooooooo what a great fighter!
@maffia440 Tyson is very similar to Frazier though. But Tyson had better hand speed and power. I think Tyson vs Ali would be like thrilla in manilla but the final match between Tyson and Ali would probably be a draw or Ali by UD. But Tyson is such an underrated fighter even though he perfected his techniques and rose to the top
@drakebudasz Lol my point is proven by saying klitchko fans are stupid. They fight light hitting slow ass fighters. They're record is shit If you look at who they fought. There's no way in hell klitchkos would tie Tyson. Tyson had defense, power, speed, strategy, and a great chin. Him being ko'd happened late in the fight
@KavIsLegend Lennox was 2002... Wow old age out of prime Tyson Lewis should be proud right? Oh and Holyfield is a great fighter but Tyson lost because of jail. We'll never see the 1990 Tyson that was suppose to fight Holyfield. But bums? BUMS!??! LOL YOUNGEST CHAMP ALL 3 BELTS AND KO'D 2 PEOPLE THAT BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF ALI
Tyson is the most overrated fighter in history. Who'd he beat in his prime? a load of bums, and then he got KO'd by Buster Douglas FFS. The Klitschkos have already done more at HW than Tyson ever did.
@agt155 Check out the fighters that Tyson beat, AND THEN check out those fighters' resumes. If the fighters who Tyson beat (actually knocked out convincingly) were all bums, then so were those fighters who the "BUMS" beat. On that list will include Holmes (Holmes beat Ali, Earnie Shavers, Leon Spinks & Mike Weaver, all "BUMS"). Spinks (Spinks was 31-0, so all of Spinks opponents were bums, too. One of those "bums" was Gerry Cooney, who Jimmy Young & Ken Norton. Those guys must be bums, too).
@theatlantean3 Holmes was 10 years past his prime!!! and Spinks was a light heavyweight. Look at who he beat for his titles Berbick, Tucker and Smith, and people think todays HW era is poor.
@agt155 Yeah I agree that Holmes was past his prime, maybe not 10 years, but he was past his prime. I would say he was in his prime until 1985, and he fought Tyson in 88'. So not that far out of his prime. But regardless, you could make that argument for ANY of the champions. It could be argued that Sonny Liston was past his prime when he lost to Ali,or that Floyd Patterson was past his prime when he lost to Ali, twice. So does that take away from Ali's resume?They were past their prime afterall
@drakebudasz No the Klitchko's are Out-fighters,meaning they stay on the outside. And keep there oppenent at bay with jabs. They have a hard time with technical brawlers like Tyson. His peek-a-boo style speed and explosiveness would overwhelm them they wouldn't kno what to do I'd gurentee a 1st or 2nd round knockout on both of them.
@thefury187 I would take you on that. Especially since Tyson managed to get such a fearful reputation by fighting tomato cans and old fighters. Name one great he fought and beat in their prime? Riddick Bowe? Oh, he couldnt do that fight. Holyfield, oh he is a cheater. LOL come on.
@thefury187 Lewis, Sanders, Hide, Arreola, Byrd, Peter, Rahman, Ibragimov, Chagaev, Williamson, McCline, Botha, Barrett, Briggs, Solis, Gomez, Donald. Seriously? These guys all suck? Tyson never proved himself, any time, ANYTIME he stepped up he lost.
@thefury187 Right, like he did to Douglas, Holyfield, and Lewis. LOL, Lewis destroyed Tyson, while Vitali was winning on all 3 scorecards and just got lucky because of an eye cut. And then dodged him for a rematch. God knows how many times Tyson dodged Lewis till he needed to fight him for the money.
@LordBillGates Youre a fucking idiot youre almost not even worth replying to Lewis fought tyson wayyyyyy after his prime so your arguement is invalid retard
@thefury187 Question: WHO DID TYSON BEAT IN HIS PRIME? NO ONE. He fought in the weakest HW era ever. Buster Douglas exposed and then put him to sleep hardcore. You and all you butt lover Tyson supporters can't understand that. And McCall in this clip (who KO Lewis on PPV), KO him out several times during this session before Douglas. So don't even act like their was a sic era for Tyson. Keep watching youtube clips of Tyson KO no names noob and acting like you know anything!
@thefury187 Plus, if you knew anything (which you don't), you know that Tyson used to spar Lewis when they where young and would get owned by him. Cus D'amato (Tyson's trainer) said even that Lewis figured him out during their session. Tyson could have fought him so many times in your so-called "Prime Era" but dodged him left and right, he even made Don King give up his HW belt to Lewis so he didn't have to fight him LOL. OWNED: I'M DONE: BUT KEEP TALKING NOOB or dodge me like Lewis
@martpast1 Nice grammar. Realize in this video Tyson was sparring with person who KO'd Lennox. And obviously won the spar. If this, non washed up, Tyson fought Lennox in 2002, would've been Lennox with a broken jaw. And if Tyson beat the man who beat Lennox and Lennox beat Vitali... Common sense saying Tyson would kill the klitchkos, Lennox, and any opponent before he went to jail. Stupid ass
@fuitbag Are you fuckin serious? He fought a old foreman, Lennox is ok but mostly fights people he knows he can beat. And wlad is about as good as Saverese. Vitali is slow but strong meaning yea Tyson would feel pain but your stupid ass is acting like Tyson has no defense. Tysons defense is as good as Alis and hand speed is the same too. The only difference between Ali and Tyson was Tyson was stronger and Ali was smarter. Vitali couldnt touch greatest, thats why he would never beat Tyson
@djk28161 Ever heard about Randall `Tex` Cobb and George Chuvalo? There is not one fighter in history that even comes close to Cobbs chin.Larry Holmes pummeled Cobbs face so badly over 15 rounds that Howard Cosell quit his job as a commentator.
@ezekielwahwah Tyson was using a very old-school trick of hitting on the hips, when your fast they look like body punches but they hurt ten times more because they're landing on uncushioned bone of the hips. Frazier did it to Ali in the third fight to slow him down, stop his legs from working as well.
@ezekielwahwah This was in Tokyo before the Douglas fight, and against Oliver McCall in sparring Tyson would need everything to keep McCall off him, you see the Tyson camp wanted nothing to do with McCall in a professional ring - before drugs and mental illness reduced Oliver to nothing he was a serious threat to Tyson.
@MrBumboclart Rubbish- McCall would have faced Tyson if he'd beaten Douglas; the winner of that fight was scheduled to challenge for the title and Buster won and went on to beat Mike. It had nothing to do with them not wanting to face Oliver. Also this couldn't have been before the Douglas fight because you can clearly see Kevin Rooney there; he was fired long before that fight.
@tlig And McCall lost that fight, Tyson's camp laughed at him for losing to Douglas saying Buster was a bum...look what happened to Mike. Imagine if McCall had fought the same Tyson that fought Douglas?
@MrBumboclart Your point? I'm not sure what any of what you just said has to do with your claim that Tyson's camp wanted nothing to do with McCall in a pro fight. Tyson's camp were actually teasing him that he blew his chance because he would have been the one challenging for the title rather than playing the role of sparring partner. I also am not interested in what would have happened had McCall fought the Tyson that faced Douglas. He didn't (and that's his fault).
@tlig My point is Tyson's early camp avoided some competition like McCall and comeback George Foreman just as much as Don King's leadership. And my second point was that McCall would have beaten Tyson had Tyson been in the same state he'd been in against Douglas - probably worse.
@MrBumboclart I love your videos MrBumboclart,but i am pretty sure,100% sure infact,that this was the preparations for the fight against Tony "TNT" Tubbs wich altso took place in Tokyo and wich at the time Rooney was still Tysons trainer.
@EVILSPAWN1003 Yes I think you're right, I knew it was a fight in Tokyo only Greg Page sparred with Tyson before Douglas so yes McCall sparred with him before TNT Tubbs haha.
@MrBumboclart You don't really believe that, do you? McCall is a glorified sparring partner who lacked talent and was a mediocre prospect. He had his chance and blew it against Douglas. McCall would have sparring partner syndrome against Tyson and eventually get shut out and lose a wide unanimous decision.
@scotthovsepian88 To the same Tyson who was knocked out by Buster Douglas? I don't think so. Styles make fights and according to a forum friend of mine who watched McCall and Tyson spar several times he said it was always a war. Tyson could have pounded on McCall all the fight but McCall's chin wouldn't have cracked, and as we know Tyson was in no condition in Tokyo to go the distance, especially against a guy like McCall. Late stoppage win for Oliver.
guys give me a break its a sparring session...it means nothing Oliver McCall was an opponent that's it.. just like Greg Page these were the guys that were set up to make fighters like Tyson and HolyField they never had what it took to be successful McCall could never handle the pressure in the ring he showed us against Bruno and Lennox Lewis crying..? give me a break..Mike would of had him for breakfast...lol it would of been a mismatch.
@1216ceasar Exactly. McCall lacks in a lot of areas. He's a sparring partner for a reason. He did give Tyson some good battles but that was with headgear. Looks like McCall quit from a body shot here.
@MrBumboclart I used to think the same way you do, but Douglas was on another level and put it all together that night. McCall has a granite chin but didn't have the movement and ability Douglas had. Tyson's preparation was piss poor but I don't think someone like a green McCall would get to him. Maybe, maybe not.
@ezekielwahwah Below the belt is below the belt,be it in the nuts or on the hip.Altso a great way to neutralize an oponents jab.Punch them in the shoulder till they can`t throw a single jab..... Frowned upon and concidered unsportsmanlike,but not illegal.
If I read another Tyson comment on an Ali video, or vice-versa, I'll explode. 1) Anyone who is certain of a result in this match-up are just as bad as those who thought Liston or Foreman would annihiliate Ali 2) Boxing is great because it is unpredictable, so why ruin it by deciding the victor before a fight even begins? 3) The idea that Ali would EASILY defeat Tyson, and vice-versa, is absurd, and insulting to their abilities. IN CLOSING: we will never know, and those who are sure are insecure.
@h0olaman Get over yourself !!! This is a you tube comments page and people can come on here and put down whatever they like . So what if people comment on Tyson/Ali or whoever . ? You are not the judge and fucking jury of you tube OR boxing . Save your sanctimony, it's not needed !!
@thehitchrules wtf---? i was criticizing ppl who argue about who would win a fight between ali and tyson or generally someone from the golden era vs someone from today ("today"=everything after the glden era). you clearly didn't understand my post so shut up, get off your high horse and stop posting when drinking.
@h0olaman People can post whatever they like ; not for you to dictate and call people who you don't know and will never meet insecure because you are calling out what should be posted . It's called sanctimony . People like to exchange views on Ali vs Tyson or whoever . That's what happens on these pages . Get real or do us all a favor and "EXPLODE". !
@DestroyerAlexandros Lol im 16 and I honestly KNOW not THINK that the klitchko sisters would last 4 rounds with a 1999 Tyson and at most 4 seconds against a 1986 Tyson. And Ali vs Forman was the greatest fight in history. Oh btw your precious vitali and wladimir are SOOOOOOOOO lucky they weren't the heavyweight champion in 86 because Tyson was so hungry that fight they would have committed suicide after Tyson would have done to them. Fact klitchkos suck. Fact tyson could beat ali
@roccoSH5 No You faggot. Tyson would barely beable to reach Klitschkos face's. and i don't know about Wladimir, But Vitali would be a worthy opponent in any era of boxing. Simply because he is so big and strong and skilled. Even fucking Shannon Briggs said "I fought Goerge Foreman i've fought Lennox Lewis and Vitali is the best".
@roccoSH5 u r talking shit and u r stupid. u dont understand how difficult it is to get on the top and to stay there, if they r sisters =u r fucking piece of miserable shit.
@roccoSH5 haha tyson could beat ali, tyson fought bums and when it come to a real challanege / decent fighter he folded under the pressure eg lennox / evander.
@roccoSH5 Yea cause Tyson sure beat all the greats! An old Holmes, who was retired for 2 years. A light heavyweight Michael Spinks. Who else did Tyson beat that made him so great? LOL
@roccoSH5 Question: who did Tyson beat? FACT NO ONE!!! He lost to Buster Douglas (the worst Heavy Weight ever!) by KO, he got out boxed by Holyfield twice, got put to sleep by Lewis, and beat a Holmes 15 years past his prime during the weakest Heavy Weight era. Tyson KO a bunch of no names, he beat a couple of good guys, but never any great fighters. Go watch the Douglas fight before you talk. Fact: Vitali Klitschko has never been KO and only lost two fights because of injury.
@shiryet That dude is Oliver McCall, the one who knocked out L. Lewis and then gave up in the rematch cuz of a mental breakdown. There is a video of McCall knocking down Tyson in another sparring match.
@terrtj A bit of information people may not know is that when McCall fought Lewis for the title he got a phone call from Tyson who was in prison and Tyson told McCall exactly what he needed to do to win the fight and wished him luck.
Tyson fucked him up he just scared to carry on

LOL.
LordBillGates 1 month ago
@LordBillGates
Pal read the words in caps very carefully.
Califacience 3 weeks ago
@Califacience LOL, Alright pal, I can already tell you never watched a fight. 1. the Lewis fight was stopped because of injury to Vitali's eye, in which he wanted to continue with the fight but ring doctor stopped it. 2. Lewis was losing the fight on all score cards and taking huge shots to the head, 3. Lewis didn't even give him a re-match. 4. Chris Byrd is one of the greatest Defensive heavy weights of all time and is great fighter. 5. Bryd was getting killed and losing on all scorecards too.
LordBillGates 3 weeks ago
@LordBillGates
Chris Byrd is a GREAT fighter? LOL

@roccoSH5
03041976001 1 month ago
@03041976001
Califacience 3 weeks ago
@Califacience Foreman killed Frazier and he had no skill great power yes! But not much else, the Klitchkos are far more skilled than the likes of Foreman! So I still say they would give any heavy weight a headache from any era. Now weather or not they would beat them is another matter!
sw1000xg 2 weeks ago
@sw1000xg
Ali against the Klitchkos is just a bad bad idea.
Califacience 2 weeks ago
@Califacience Problem is we all look at ALi as the greatest but again he still lost 5 times! And who is to know! Look at Lewis who would have thought a bum could KO him?
sw1000xg 2 weeks ago
Greatness In Boxing comes from defeating other great fighters, something the Klitchkos have never really done. It does not come from remaining undefeated in matches against bums. As I keep saying, Boxing is about styles, it's not that the Klitchkos are bad fighters (although they are a bit overrated by some people), they just have the wrong style for someone like Ali.
As for Lewis, Bums do sometimes cause great fighters problems, precisely because they underestimate them (Corrie Sanders)
Califacience 2 weeks ago
@sw1000xg
Califacience 2 weeks ago
@sw1000xg
The version of Ali in that clip down to 1966 would have dominated the Klitchkos. The Ali that fought Foreman 10 years later in 1974 would be a fairer fight. Personally I would pick Ali, but that would be a more even fight, and the Klitckos would have a chance..
Califacience 2 weeks ago
@Califacience Thing you missed though is that I think the Klitchkos will hit harder! the new training, the better supliments, DRUGS blah blah blah! So saying one will defo win, well you can't really say that! Ali never faught anyone that big! So all that floating will mean nothing if he can't hit them!
sw1000xg 2 weeks ago
@sw1000xg
Califacience 2 weeks ago
@Califacience 100% CORRECT.
Soulblackman 2 weeks ago
@sw1000xg Uhh, why wouldn't he be able to hit two fighters 3 times slower than he is? What exactly are they going to do with their size? What advantage does it give them? We already discussed punching power. Are you talking about reach? They both actually have shorter reaches than Sonny Liston did. I am missing your point here.
Califacience 2 weeks ago
@Califacience Shut the fuck up!! You obviously never boxed in your life. If you did you'd be able to answer that question. Just watch the clip and shut the fuck up. Go and ring the Samaratins if you want to talk bollocks
samooskhka 1 week ago
@samooskhka
Califacience 1 week ago
@sw1000xg you cant train to hit harder its natural, you can only learn the proper technique. you can lift all the weights and take all the supplements in the world, but if its not there its never gonna be there. thats said neither klits hit anywhere near as hard as foreman liston and shavers.
messier991102 1 week ago
@messier991102 Yeah true! But I still say it's a different time! But boxing fans will never agree... It's like F1 I love that sport but I don't like the old days of F1 I think today the drivers would be better. Or worlds strongest man, the new would beat old all day long. But you will have others saying no they wont!
sw1000xg 1 week ago
@Califacience Theres similarities between ali and the klits in that they only fight guys smaller than them
Not saying they dodge the bigger guys, but big skilled guys are pretty rare
SamTheManWhoCanTwice 2 weeks ago
@SamTheManWhoCanTwice
Califacience 2 weeks ago
@Califacience

Even Sonny Liston would murder the Klitchkos. They are too big to keep away from him, and do you know what Liston does to fighters when he gets inside?
Ring Magazine "The Bible of Boxing" ranks his punching power near Mike Tyson's.
Califacience 1 week ago

Klitchko is as slow as molasses, I have seen him fight before. That is why he could barely touch Chris Byrd. If he has so much trouble with Chris Byrd's skill and speed how is he going to catch Ali?

The Klitchkos are just WAY too slow for that. That is the price of being as big as they are. I actually think the fight will be stopped on cuts, because Ali was very good at opening cuts.

No doubt, Ali was a gifted boxer, but this liston would be destroyed by some of the better modern fighters. He nearly telegraphed every jab in this fight. Many fights Ali stopped his dancing after the 5. round and then he would becoming a target. And really, for someone with his speed, he caught to many shots. How many times you saw a Vitaly get hit to the head?
0Turbox 1 week ago
@0Turbox
Very slow telegraphed jabs.

agt155 1 month ago

They have a hard time with technical brawlers like Tyson. thefury187 1 month ago

LordBillGates 1 month ago

Stupid ass

Wow doing that in sparring that was useless and violent. By the way look at the bright side of it: at least he didn't bite his ear off.
ezekielwahwah 1 month ago
@ezekielwahwah This was in Tokyo before the Douglas fight, and against Oliver McCall in sparring Tyson would need everything to keep McCall off him, you see the Tyson camp wanted nothing to do with McCall in a professional ring - before drugs and mental illness reduced Oliver to nothing he was a serious threat to Tyson.
MrBumboclart 1 month ago
@MrBumboclart Rubbish- McCall would have faced Tyson if he'd beaten Douglas; the winner of that fight was scheduled to challenge for the title and Buster won and went on to beat Mike. It had nothing to do with them not wanting to face Oliver. Also this couldn't have been before the Douglas fight because you can clearly see Kevin Rooney there; he was fired long before that fight.
tlig 1 month ago
@tlig And McCall lost that fight, Tyson's camp laughed at him for losing to Douglas saying Buster was a bum...look what happened to Mike. Imagine if McCall had fought the same Tyson that fought Douglas?
MrBumboclart 1 month ago
@MrBumboclart Your point? I'm not sure what any of what you just said has to do with your claim that Tyson's camp wanted nothing to do with McCall in a pro fight. Tyson's camp were actually teasing him that he blew his chance because he would have been the one challenging for the title rather than playing the role of sparring partner. I also am not interested in what would have happened had McCall fought the Tyson that faced Douglas. He didn't (and that's his fault).
tlig 1 month ago
@tlig My point is Tyson's early camp avoided some competition like McCall and comeback George Foreman just as much as Don King's leadership. And my second point was that McCall would have beaten Tyson had Tyson been in the same state he'd been in against Douglas - probably worse.

@MrBumboclart I love your videos MrBumboclart,but i am pretty sure,100% sure infact,that this was the preparations for the fight against Tony "TNT" Tubbs wich altso took place in Tokyo and wich at the time Rooney was still Tysons trainer.
EVILSPAWN1003 1 month ago
@EVILSPAWN1003 Yes I think you're right, I knew it was a fight in Tokyo only Greg Page sparred with Tyson before Douglas so yes McCall sparred with him before TNT Tubbs haha.
MrBumboclart 1 month ago
@MrBumboclart You don't really believe that, do you? McCall is a glorified sparring partner who lacked talent and was a mediocre prospect. He had his chance and blew it against Douglas. McCall would have sparring partner syndrome against Tyson and eventually get shut out and lose a wide unanimous decision.
scotthovsepian88 1 month ago
@scotthovsepian88 To the same Tyson who was knocked out by Buster Douglas? I don't think so. Styles make fights and according to a forum friend of mine who watched McCall and Tyson spar several times he said it was always a war. Tyson could have pounded on McCall all the fight but McCall's chin wouldn't have cracked, and as we know Tyson was in no condition in Tokyo to go the distance, especially against a guy like McCall. Late stoppage win for Oliver.
MrBumboclart 1 month ago
@MrBumboclart he could go all night because he had a headguard on...
KILLUMINATI233 1 month ago
guys give me a break its a sparring session...it means nothing Oliver McCall was an opponent that's it.. just like Greg Page these were the guys that were set up to make fighters like Tyson and HolyField they never had what it took to be successful McCall could never handle the pressure in the ring he showed us against Bruno and Lennox Lewis crying..? give me a break..Mike would of had him for breakfast...lol it would of been a mismatch.
1216ceasar 1 month ago
@1216ceasar Exactly. McCall lacks in a lot of areas. He's a sparring partner for a reason. He did give Tyson some good battles but that was with headgear. Looks like McCall quit from a body shot here.
scotthovsepian88 1 month ago

EVILSPAWN1003 1 month ago
@MrBumboclart Altso a great way to take away someones jab.Keep punching their shoulder till they can jab no more.....

Save your sanctimony, it's not needed !!
thehitchrules 2 months ago
@thehitchrules wtf---? i was criticizing ppl who argue about who would win a fight between ali and tyson or generally someone from the golden era vs someone from today ("today"=everything after the glden era). you clearly didn't understand my post so shut up, get off your high horse and stop posting when drinking.
h0olaman 2 months ago
@h0olaman People can post whatever they like ; not for you to dictate and call people who you don't know and will never meet insecure because you are calling out what should be posted . It's called sanctimony . People like to exchange views on Ali vs Tyson or whoever . That's what happens on these pages . Get real or do us all a favor and "EXPLODE". !

@BadBlueBoyZG86 I know what ur saying, but everyone in heavyweight right now sucks. 99 wins 89 ko isnt impressive against nobody's
roccoSH5 2 months ago
@DestroyerAlexandros Lol im 16 and I honestly KNOW not THINK that the klitchko sisters would last 4 rounds with a 1999 Tyson and at most 4 seconds against a 1986 Tyson. And Ali vs Forman was the greatest fight in history. Oh btw your precious vitali and wladimir are SOOOOOOOOO lucky they weren't the heavyweight champion in 86 because Tyson was so hungry that fight they would have committed suicide after Tyson would have done to them. Fact klitchkos suck. Fact tyson could beat ali
roccoSH5 2 months ago 16
@roccoSH5
yes yes they are alwas lucky,
no doubt if they would fight against tyson it would be the hardest fight in their career,
but dont forget they won against 99 opponents, knocking 89 opponents out.
They are machines
BadBlueBoyZG86 2 months ago
@roccoSH5 When I was 16 I thought Sampras would beat Federer 99% of the time.
DestroyerAlexandros 2 months ago
@roccoSH5 sorry but your comment is 100% crap, actually your comment did show that you are 16...
combatesdeboxeo 1 month ago

Nah you think they would last 4 rounds.Vitali would KO Tyson(1999) in 10th round.1986-1988 Tyson would be a draw or TKO for Tyson.
drakebudasz 1 month ago
@roccoSH5 Don't get too happy now, i was with ya on the whole klitchko thing but Tyson cannot beat Ali and i am talking about 1988 Tyson vs 1966 Ali
maffia440 1 month ago
@roccoSH5 Yea cause Tyson sure beat all the greats! An old Holmes, who was retired for 2 years. A light heavyweight Michael Spinks. Who else did Tyson beat that made him so great? LOL
emekonen 1 month ago
@roccoSH5 Question: who did Tyson beat? FACT NO ONE!!! He lost to Buster Douglas (the worst Heavy Weight ever!) by KO, he got out boxed by Holyfield twice, got put to sleep by Lewis, and beat a Holmes 15 years past his prime during the weakest Heavy Weight era. Tyson KO a bunch of no names, he beat a couple of good guys, but never any great fighters. Go watch the Douglas fight before you talk. Fact: Vitali Klitschko has never been KO and only lost two fights because of injury.
LordBillGates 1 month ago
That's what Tysons power does to people. In his prime he was amazing, so quick, tight defence and plenty of power.

No heart at all.
shiryet 3 months ago
@shiryet That dude is Oliver McCall, the one who knocked out L. Lewis and then gave up in the rematch cuz of a mental breakdown. There is a video of McCall knocking down Tyson in another sparring match.
terrtj 2 months ago
@terrtj A bit of information people may not know is that when McCall fought Lewis for the title he got a phone call from Tyson who was in prison and Tyson told McCall exactly what he needed to do to win the fight and wished him luck.
