@Sevv9220 depending of the country European people (the average) is at minimum bilingual in the south, scandinavians, germans and eastern europeans 4 languages average, one scandinavian knows their native language and understands their neighbor countries say Swedish, Norwegian and Danish, also they regularly learn German or English from primary school therefore they are fluent and professionals like to learn 1 extra language usually french is a matter of survival and business here.
Man I admire people that can speak multiple languages sooo much lol. He's Spanish/German, can speak both fluently, spoke very fluent French in Inglourious Basterds (it sounded to me anyway), and seems to speak English perfectly too. I also think he's pretty cute and I couldn't really hate him in this film even though I wanted to and was probably supposed to lol.

wow i had no idea that all/a lot of the actors in the film could speak so many languages! they make americans look so bad, ahaha. his english is perfect. it's my dream to be fluent in french and spanish one day... more americans should be able to speak more than just english imo.

I hope this will be springboard for Daniel's international career. He was great in Goodbye Lenin and the Edukators.
His French in the movie is good as well, by the way. Most upper class Germans who attend the Gymnasium will take English and French courses.

Yes, he is born in Barcelona, but in the holidays his family doesn´t live there. He comes from cologne in the province nordrhein westfalen.

Studying the English Language is obligatory for German students. Almost every educated German is able to speak at last three languages.
