While taxpayers bend over and pay over 10k for a little over 3k worth of work being done to a wealthy landlords home/building, who can kick these people out once the upgrades are complete to sell at a higher price. Companies rig the paperwork so that they can focus on the most profitable work, ignorant bitch.

Don't buy into this. It's a front for the bigger scheme which is higher taxes on energy, period. So you may save a few hundred a year by "weatherization" but the Government's going to ask each household to pay 600+ per year in new energy costs if a bill tomorrow is passed... don't believe the hype. In my house, we got new windows, new roof, new water heater and furnace, put up styrofoam insullation in the basement, closets and attic, and got expanding isulation foam (retrofoam) in all the walls.

We just found out that the insullation was banned from out country (Canada) for over 30 years to cause cancer- it's reduced our house's value by 10, 000...
