are there floods in Wisonsin? or only near the lakes & rivers? Can some one tell me please- I'm looking at Wisoncsin, I live in the LA area. Please tell me the truth! Is WIsonsin a dangerous place to live? Be honest! Does it suck out there?

I live in Glendale area and we get hardly anything from all the severe storms. The last tornado was 20-30 some years ago...and counting!
There are rarely any floods here no matter how hard the rain falls~ just don't live directly close to the river
