Yes, this is what happened in my video, I had the hours so on the first kill I got 1 star and second kill gave me 2 stars.

I don't have required badges for brigadier general, but i have all the required badges for major general and 30 hours left to complete 1250 hours. Is that what happened to you ?

Yeah hopefully, in my apartment we all run wireless routers, it causes me to have a ping around 100 on the server most close to me. Sometimes when a player are disconneting from the server my ping sometimes flies to above 1000 = 1 sek delay - Some EA servers dont kick due to high ping;) but i notice a lot of servers are kicking around 150

The only difference might be is that here I was targeting only planes because I thought dogfight will make a better video. I usually target ground enemies more than planes.

lol i rank up from Colonel to Lt. General with just 3 points with a tank in karkand: in 30 seconds i got 4 awards

12 kills in Armor = Veteran Armor + Brigadier General

1 repair point = Major General

1 kill support = Lieutenant General

Obviously i got first 200,000 points + 1440 hours playtime and all others awards needed

LOL im a colonel. anyhow u guys apparently dont know much about this game. he got 2 ranks because for the one star u have to have certain badges which he had and a certain amount of hours. so when he had 180,000 points he had 2 kill 1 person for the 1 star then for the 2 star u have to have a certain amount of badges and hours also, and he had them so u can rank up twice from 1 star to 2 star. hes not hacking.

... Okay, silly thing boys and maybe a girl. Sometimes, EA sometimes gives people random points, most likely points from medals, just take a while to gather, ANYWHO. On my other account, after taking a BF2 hiatus for quite a while, Decided to play again. I logged on a noticed I had 1k *roughly* points over my rank, so I got in game, shot people got a rank, killed some more and got another rank. It seems like something on EA's Stat Recording end. So no, it is not OMGLOLHAX. It's common. So calm.

It is the same guy getting those promotions. For both ranks you need 180k score and some badges and if you have them you get each promotion after one kill.
