I realy HATE Pc Pro! They suck ass soo much! PC Pro I guess stands for PC Prostitues, cause they certainly arn't professionals!! That guy made me physically sick! He was more slimy that a snal! Also, what this dickhead failed to say was that the upgrade from XP to 7 is NOT AN UPGRADE IT'S A DOWNGRADE!! XP is a perfect piece of software! Even Microsoft itsself thinks so cause its now supporting it till 2014 (and beyond I don't wonder!!) 7 sucks! Vista is shit! Stick with XP or get a Mac!
I love my Mac too, and the whizzy search feature demonstrated here has been in Mac OS X since Tiger was launched in 2005. It is called Spotlight. Before that, issued in Mac OS 8(!), they used a system called Sherlock, which could search for text in saved text documents and/or search on the net. It wasn't system wide, so not in Open/Save boxes etc, but it was much more advanced than any search in Win 9.x, or indeed the yawn inducing dog thing in XP! Not accusing MS of copying tho! Heaven forbid!

I know of two large multinationals which are only just thinking of upgrading to Vista.
IMO the BBC calling Vista a 'disaster' is rather inaccurate. Yes there where some initial problems, but there have been millions of PCs sold with Vista, and they're all running OK.
I do like Windows 7. Have been using the RC for months now. and recently changed to the final version.
Windows 7 boost full of good taste in design and functionality.
I'm using it right now (RC version) and won't accept going back to any previous version.
I don't care about those people who hate microsoft, and therefore any Windows OS - I love Windows 7 because of many different reasons. Using still XP is like staying in the mid ages.
After one our of use I switched back to may mac. Windows 7 is so stupid. It does not allow me to dig into the documents and settings folder, however using Total Commander it will allow. What kind of security is this? There are similar unreasonable things.
The guy showing the so called features of this new windows, shows nothing which is relevant to real life use, just the shiny useless features.
i see where your coming from but what makes 7 better than any other windows operating system is that its all under the hood and not many people admire that so they had to put some shiny trinkets on for the magpie users lol.
Agreed, I shall say I am a Mac user, however Windows7 isn't a bad OS by any means, its stabile which makes a change from Vista (Even saying that have heard of a few problems already) but I think you are right, they have added little pointless features, the 'Shake' feature is a tad pointless and just certain things which make Windows7 a tad cringe worthy, I think what EVERYONE is forgetting in todays world is that, once upon a time, a Computer, be Mac or PC, was just that... a Computer
