These vehicles will be important during wars. With all the problems were are facing today, I think that there will be another war. These vehicles will help India be less dependent. next india needs to work on weapons, aircrafts, and perhaps the heavy industry, such as Japan. India has the manpower to do so. They are just lacking the funds to pay for the projects.

It's not an SUV....it's just a Utility Vehicle with large capacity engine. Mahindra still uses cheaper materials to craft a vehicle. Scorpio is too much plastic to drive. No quality. Mahindra should look for better. It's popular only for his price tag. None realizes the shame of quality.

What was Tata thinking that no one would notice that it has design features from a ford escape, range rover, Nissan Pathfinder and from the Jeep Cherokee. Don't those designers have any creativity or orginal thought for there own work. try something with a low CofG light body (out of Composites) big 6 cylinder or a small 8 cylinder with an bHp range of 180 to about 290 bhp would be perfect.

itz also avaliable in the gulf but for wat joy i dont get....mahindra people are idiots...they are selling it for 60,000dhs which is insane for a car with 2.6 litre engine....you can get a hyundai tucsun for 49,000 which is reliable and powerful.....its a shame they dont excel in other places but in india where people have no choice but to get 1 and plz mahindra...are u thinkin of carrying the design like the ambassador did...for godsake itz time to redesign the model....

Create a new segment: micro-SUV for the city dwellers. It will beat all the small(santro/indica/M800) cars on the city roads.

If only Mahindra made one smaller Bolero version the size of santro/indica/zen & 1.4liter engine and similar fuel efficiency it would sell like hot cakes in cities. We already have Scorpio with 3 seating rows, give us something smaller for city traffic.

Absolutely agreee.. We need a smaller SUV not only for cities but also for mountains. I drove scorpio up over 3000 metres. The road infrastructure there is so deadly, it feels too big and it's off road capabilites are compromised to some extent due to the lack of traction. We need something the size of Gypsy which is the ultimate off roader for mountains..BUT very expensive to run and ride quality leads to back problems.
