I'm confused about this speech at the end there he gave the option to opt out like he normally does but this is the first time ive seen him say that we would still pay 10% of our income. What would this fee be called and I hope its not income tax, because he openly advocates abolishing that in its entirety. So please someone explain it to me so i understand it better.
@khanmar I was a little confused as well, but if you go to ronpaulforums(dot)com and search "Breaking - Ron Paul's 10% income tax" then you might find an answer. I think it means if you still want social security/medicare/etc then you will only pay 10% flat tax (which is about 15% now I think), but if you are younger (like under 25) then you can opt-out and pay no taxes. This way you can phase out the income tax system. Let me know if you find more info.

I'm confused about this speech at the end there he gave the option to opt out like he normally does but this is the first time ive seen him say that we would still pay 10% of our income. What would this fee be called and I hope its not income tax, because he openly advocates abolishing that in its entirety. So please someone explain it to me so i understand it better.

@khanmar I was a little confused as well, but if you go to ronpaulforums(dot)com and search "Breaking - Ron Paul's 10% income tax" then you might find an answer. I think it means if you still want social security/medicare/etc then you will only pay 10% flat tax (which is about 15% now I think), but if you are younger (like under 25) then you can opt-out and pay no taxes. This way you can phase out the income tax system. Let me know if you find more info.

Man im sick and tired of all presidents giving us HOPE to elect them then giving us the finger once elected, i guess cause of the same old SHEEP voting them into office over and over again. JUST KEEP SCREWING US BABY. IN THE NEXT ELECTION IM GOING BEND OVER AND TAKE IT UP THE ASS.

I keep hearing people say "he won't win", but when I ask who they would vote for instead, they can't name anyone. I also ask them, do you like his message they usually say yes, then I dare them to vote for Dr. Paul. Not voting for Ron Paul just because you think he can't win is a cop-out. We need his ideas for the sake of our future, our children's future. It's our obligation to vote for him.

Rightists and Leftists detest Ron Paul for that because he believes in a America without bailouts or rich elite/poor welfare favoritism. In reality those extremes want a free ride. Be it $700B for bankers or welfare check for the poor.
