I don't get why people don't like Blink 182's music because it's too simple. But isn't that one of the biggest foundation's of punk rock? It's simple and it has energy, which inspires kids, teens, and young adults to learn the guitar, bass, or drums. If it wasn't for bands like Blink, I wouldn't be the guitarist for my school jazz band, and working towards a career in music. It's long story... can't really sum it up in a single YouTube comment. I think part of the hate with blink is most rockers see a 3 man group as incomplete kids screwing around as opposed to the traditional 5 man legendary groups. @BnHwrd Blink 182 is pretty good. If you like Punk rock, look up AFI and three days grace. 2 great bands that are amazing but AFI is darker. More scream! I love the lead singer, Davey Havok. Now, he's actually hotter! Good job though about being a guitarist. I've always wanted to learn but I never had enough time. The guitar is just siting in my room collecting dust unless my uncle comes over. So I solute you! Rock on!
