God is pleased. This is good and other members of the Lord's church should encourage.

God does not have ears to hear melody or tune, I would be very careful about being critical of things that the almighty and onipotent God of all creation finds beautiful and sweet. This is a Taiwanese congregation and I know form living there how hard it is to sing in Mandarin, so I commend them for singing in English. My congregation often did it for me (I don't speak Mandarin) just so I would feel a little more at home.  I don't mean to be accusatory towards you, but I wonder your motives

Does God have ears that tune or harmony matters to Him. Make melody in your heart speaks of intention and the spiritual worship that the true God seeks. God is not some mortal to be pleased with simple sounds, but rather the omnipotent ruler of all creation. Be careful casting down those things which God desires. As for the sound, this is a Taiwanese congregation, and having lived there I know how hard it is to sing a song in Mandarin, and I commend them for wanting to praise God.
