Hey M13, i just found some videos here on youtube that I think will help with your track skills. Its called superbike school uk. They have lots of videos with a lot of great tips.
hey guys, i know this will be marked as spam or ignored, but if you could take a few seconds to read this it would be appreciated. I'm a young sniper that is new to youtube. I'm just doing my best to become a big youtuber by putting up the best sniper content I can so I would be grateful for any views or even subs if you like my channel. Thx!! :)
Screw you M13! I just bought a fanny pack 20 minutes ago while carrying too much crap in my pockets while riding. Now i feel gay. Practical, but gay. xD
@headroom 13mordeth didn't promise anything dumbass. @13mordeth you should get a cbr600rr if I'm not mistaken they are the lightest bike for it's class and has some of the best handling. The power is still there it might not be as strong as the zx-6r but it's damn near close to it.lids the newer ones have an abs option. Honda ftw!!!!
@BloomingtonNinja In one of M13's last video's of the race track, he said something about they guy just putting bits of metal or aluminum in his knee pads or something?! Im not sure tho, check with him! :)
50% of your turning radius is leaning angle and the other 50% is your body postion. you do both those things perfectly you will get the tightest turn your bike can do
I like your video. It looks like fun. Could you give more tips on how you ride as you are riding the track? Like late breaking or things like that. Tha-anks!
Nice tight little track. Some of your turns were to tight. Look at the guy in from of you in the red at the very end of the video. There's a part on a double apex where he is out really wide with his knee down and you are hugging the curb. Try to follow his line it will help. Other than that I am ready to get back on the track, stay safe.
@13mordeth Great lines, you had ur knee down on 90% (or more) of those turns! One time you spoke of wanting to get into racing on 2-stroke bikes, are you still planning on pursuing that?
@13mordeth all the 2 strokes in the u.s. that aren't ys50r's and ys80r's and ns50r's are suuuuuuupppppppeeeeerrrrrrr expensive and i can't wait to get my rz350 the end of this summer :D
That last guy looks like a real good rider, even though he's not really going for lap time, it seems. And the slow corner before the straight, the one with the bad underground looks interesting to ride. the morre I see this track, the more I want to try it on a Triumph Daytona. It just fits this bike so well!
Hi M13! love your channel. Nice driving there, I notice that, when you're down shifting and releasing the clutch; you don't blip the trottle, instead, you just release the clutch slowly, you shouldn't, it's hard on the engine/trans parts (crank, pistons, pistons rings, timing chaine, the clutch it self), you should always blip the trottle and just let go of the clutch, even at low speed. Buy bleeping the trottle you match the revs and prevents wheel blocking and it's easyer on the engine/trans.
@DR1F7W yeah, I just noticed that too. Don't know why, but many riders i know, don't blip. With 2-strokes it's pretty understandable, as they don't really have engine breaking, but with 4-strokes I think it's a must have skill. It's also more comfortable for the girl on your back seat ;)
@DR1F7W This is a valid criticism. I'm familiar with blipping....and I've mentioned it in a couple of videos....but it's not a habit of mine. Which is bad. I'll try to work on it. And thank you for giving a critique without being jerk about it coughHeadroomcough.
@DR1F7W No not always, I don't know what year M13's bike is but from 07 - 12 they fitted slipper clutches as a stock item. if you searched RSVR track day you would find they can knock down the box without blipping the throttle due to the slipper clutch, splitting the engine from the clutch plates ever so lightly that it will fall into a lower gear without locking up the rear.
if M13's bike is 07- onwards I dissagree with what your saying.
@DR1F7W hey ....... tell me if im wrong because i just want to know if im right or wrong since u sound like an expert ok when your riding and u want to go up a gear u release the gas ,then pull the clutch all the way, then lift ur left foot to hear the click, then u slowly release the clutch, then a mili sec later u start to give little gas , release some more clutch , give more gas then let the clutch all the way out , give a tiny bit more gas but keep it at a steady speed.am i right pls reply
Hey m13 I'm looking to buy a ninja 650 in a couple weeks, i was wondering have you had any problems at all with your bike or any tips when buying a 650
@jarthe3 make sure you try a similar power 4 cylinder bike too, like a bandit / fazer / hornet / etc. Biggest downside of 650r parallel twin is vibration at around 4000 rpm. Upside is that it's a bit more "hooligan" at legal speeds, especially in the city, with low-rpm torque
@hellwolf882 If you rebuild the head on the engine and have the crankshaft custom machined you can raise the redline, which effectively increases the max speed the bike can go. Or you could modify the transmission and just give the engine more power to get to the top of the final gear on the transmission. Why do you want to go faster than 120 though?
@hellwolf882 Be careful going that fast in those kinda zones, a pothole is a harsh mistress at that speed. They race in a similar area of louisville ky around here and there are some rough spots. Something to consider is whether your bike is safe at speeds higher than 120. Look for others who have modified that same bike and see if you can get a general idea of how much modification it would take to make the bike stable at that kind of speed, and able to brake hard and maneuver over 100 safely.
@hellwolf882 Oh also the sizes of the sprocket on the rear wheel and transmission on the bike affects the max speed of the bike, but if the sprockets are changed out to increase max speed, usually acceleration suffers and the bike needs more power from the engine to make use of the sprocket changes.
Hahaha it's so easy to look like a good driver when the rest is Newbs but I have to say M3 you sound relaxed during the comments so you must have skills too!
I got my toes to slide across the ground before I got my knee down. I have no idea how to get my knee down and hearing that I was further than knee down is a bit worrying. Video about how to get your knee down..?
@cookie852 racers normally move there inside foot back on the foot peg so that the toe area is touching instead of the middle of the foot. i dont recommend it unless your wearing boots though, that should get your toe out of the way. hope that helps.
the guy you were behind towards the end...real nice lines...and yes he did get close to that one tight corner...I need to visit Taiwan :( but im broke lol
m13. you are a noob. every pro person knows that every time you go to the track you Must take out the FUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@13mordeth hey m13, about your foot scraping on the ground, I heard that when taking those high lean corners you should put your inside foot further back on the footpeg (just the bottom of your toes touching the footpeg). This vid is very good: watch?v=XB14B38CU0g from some asian dudes that ride here in the canyons of Southern California
