Ok ive played Runescape for like 5 years, World of Warcraft and Guild Wars for like 2, and out of them all Runescape is by far the best and yeah wow and rs people have nerd rages a lot, but they pay ;D that makes them worse, we're all nerds just we dont waste our money, and if anyone brings up members, thats investing and its not as much as a wow subscription anyways.

Maybe the difference is that runescape has a wealth of content but none of it is compelling, the graphics bleed your eyes dry unless your eyes are malfunctioning already and the only reason you play is because your computer is too much of a pos to run WoW or GW on high settings and experience what a real game world should look like?

I'm not sure how to answer that mate; it's a very good point, what I've noticed is if you're really good at a game, people generally say "No life!!!".. I'm not entirely sure how that applies, you could easily have played the game since 2001-2009, at maybe 1 hour or two a day, and still get the results of someone who can play 5-6 hours a day, know what I mean?

By effort, I think you're refering to NO LIFING, which makes you a NERD. Runescape is a gradual pase game, you log on, do what you want to do gradually. Not no life the fuck out of it for a month straight and say "yep, that was easy, now I'm gonna no life honour grinding and get myself some epic gear, then I'm gonna raid for the next 2 years to get even better gear"

Atleast on Runescape, there's variety, not just raiding day and night, or battlegrounds/arena.
