Lots of bands change their sound over the years. I don't think their new album is gonna suck. It definitely won't be as good as Light From Above, but i'll probably still listen to it. I just hope they play their old songs when i see them this week.

Black Tide wasn't really a thrash band. They were thrash influenced though.

They were a good heavy metal band with a unique sound.

But there is a lot of great thrash bands out there... you just have to look for them. Not all the great bands are famous... check your local scene... maybe there is some bands you'll like.
