What a lot of bullshit. All that time fucking around trying to stop the train, when all they had to do is lower a guy down by rope with a helicopter to the run away engine. Then he could have got inside to stop it. That press helicopter got almost close enough itself to do the job. But of course, this logical thinking dosn't make good hollywood movies LOL.

not a bad movie indeed but there were 2 things that really bothered me..

1: who the hell would place a bunch of fuel storage containers behind a sharp turn of a train track! does this place really exist? thats like asking to get disasters lol.

2: if all it took for a guy to jump from a truck to the front train to stop it, why didnt they do this at the start? instead they tried to solve it by adding more trains to the fire.. lol

Just watched this -- While I greatly enjoy all things mechanical/technical esp. like big planes, boats and trains, there are SO MANY terrbible technical absurdities, contradictions, flaws and bugaboos that I'm overall pretty disappointed. They had several opportunities to put someone on & IN the runaway locomotives, like in the double-engine combo with a SINGLE op that had ridiculous "bouncing' episodes, and when Denzel was racing on the cars he got STUMPED by a chem car's upper tower? Too bad.
