  • aaahahahhaha! funny =)

  • you are a twat.

  • Yes, I'm sure Meryl Streep, Diane Keaton, Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts, Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman and Betty White are all outraged.

  • God damn, people are so freaking sensitive nowadays.

  • THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!!! RAVELRAVELRAVEL!!!

  • Lol, you're butthurt.

  • There is nothing really wrong with that commercial. It's supposed to be situational irony.

  • thought it said sexiest and offensive commercial. lol

  • This commercial comments on the common real life issue of hardworking, capable women being overlooked and men stealing the credit. About time the issue got this sort of casual media attention...Bravo! Anyone who calls this video sexist is missing the point. You should be glad these major corporations are finally catching onto women's issues. Feminist win!

  • I want some of that Tostitos.

  • If it was three WOMEN at the window loafing and a guy actually working, you can be sure there'd be women pissing and moaning about how unrealistic and sexist that commercial was.If guys are complaining,it's not from over-sensitivity,it's because ALL commercials do the lazy, stupid men/smart,capable women bit to death.Really, somebody tell the assholes that write these that they need to come up with a new gag.Just because guys don't write angry letters in protest doesn't mean we're not pissed off.

  • Well of course, the men will take credit for her work.

  • LOL women working in an office as something other than a secretary...

  • incredibly sexist if your a whiney bitch

  • yup,fail at the interpretation

  • If women don't want to see the glass ceiling, then they shouldn't look up. Just keep an eye on the stove.

  • OMG SEXIST! Say it ain't so!!!

    Wait....

    No.

  • completely agree with guigui1992, its ok dude, its not sexist. not gonna win best commercial of the year or anything but not sexist.

  • It is amazing how clueless and sensitive people have become if you think this commercial is sexist.

  • The video wasn't that sexist. The description was...

  • I think it characterizes both genders. Maybe the uploader was joking.

  • it's really sexist tords the men men arn't that ignorant "the real term not rude"

  • I agree that this commercial is incredibly sexist and offensive--to men.

  • i like to tie my girl and spank her... is it sexist ?

  • @bastien067 Lmao nope, but it sounds like a good time! HAHAHA Ohmykurtness....can't believe I just said that. lmao.

So perhaps I should make up for it and say that if any part of this is sexist...it's toward men....lol....

  • Wow... this is the third video I have watched called "sexist" that just turns out to be something little. You women watch these things over and over just to find the littlest thing and cry over it so the liberals that call theirselves "Good People" can coddle you. Its nothing against you patmathis. (If you are a girl.) It's just that the list of theese videos go on and on.

  • Ok someones dumb and what are you talking about the best paid women in hollywood are OLDER than 30. Like Carmen Electra, Nicole Kidman, Alisa Milano, Salma Hayek, Sandra Bullock, Li Gong, Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry, Sigourny Weaver,Julianne Moore, Kim Basinger, Meg Ryan, Naomi Watts, Angelina Jolie, to name a few. Liz Taylor, Marylin Monroe and Hedy Lamarr are dead yet WORSHIPED to this day I dont know what your talking about.

  • @ThesePeopleSuck So Is Justin Bieber.... Hes The LEAST Paid Women In America! XD!!!!

  • There's nothing Sexist about this. Lord you people really need to relax.

  • I think too many people get offended by too little of issues. Most ads and movies that are "sexist" are being ironic.

  • I don't know to either Like or Dislike this video. Like because of the irony, dislike because this is SEVERELY titled incorrectly.

  • Reverse the sexes and your ad is doomed...

  • I liked it.

  • not sexist towards women - lazy men, maybe, but not women.

  • The reason commercials have men as the butt of the jokes is because women complain about sexism if the joke's on them. So next time you see a sexist joke about men, know that it was necessary to save a few precious, girly feelings from being hurt.

  • @pauls32812

You know what's ironic? Feminism. Feminists make women believe they are victims and thus making them perhaps more insecure than any man could.

This commercial IS sexist. Against men, that is. You're right, men are made out to be complete idiots in commercials now.. it's moronic.

  • The only thing remotely sexist about this is that out of the eight people shown only one was a woman.

  • this isnt sexist lol

  • This ad is NOT sexist against men because there IS a man portrayed as working hard. On the other hand, there is only ONE woman in the ad to set the standard. She is passively letting her male counterparts take credit for her work, and actually ENCOURAGING them to do so, which is "funny". This is not empowerment. This is just promoting the unfair treatment of women in male-dominated workplaces.

  • women tend more

  • Um....the construction worker who was doing all the work was a guy. But apparently /one/ of seven people in the workplace being a woman is a huge deal.

  • It's ALMOST sexist against /men/ but hardly.

  • what! this isnt offencive to women. its offencive to men, it shows them as lazy and sellfish. while it shows women as hard working and sucsesful. aaaah so true

  • This isn't sexist, it's a joke

  • I'd bet 5 to 1 that a man wrote this commercial and he's probably got a pretty healthy sense of humor about himself.

  • @TheZombiegirl08 Or perhaps a man-hating female wrote this commercial.

  • The reason they didn't get sued was because it wasn't women being portrayed as lazy while a man was working hard. That is the true sexism of media, you aren't allowed to depict a woman as worse than a man yet the other way around is fine.

  • I think the description says more about the user than the video itself. . . . If she's in therapy. . . I think the word "REFUND" is in order. . .

  • This isn't sexist. It's just dumb.

  • hahaha, so now this is not sexist becouse it's making fun of the irony of the situation... Oh I get it!! How stupid of me to stand up for women's rights on a different video. It was obvious that she was a house wife type of woman, who still exist today, and only wanted to serve her husband, as that makes her happy!! It was totally acceptable!!

Damn, do you people now see the sexism in out world?

  • I wouldn't think much if the ad was shown during the break, but it's subtle -- men sometimes "forget" when they use women's ideas as their own arguments.

  • lmao, look at those sexist comments down there. It's okay, they can't help there stupidity, their probably still virgins.

  • Yeah, not sexist at all. You would have a better arguement if there was no woman working...

You're the type of person who takes everything too personal, and over-analyzes pointless shit.

Yeah, you probably think that 9/11 was a conspiracy.

  • I am amazed there are people on my planet like some of the commenters here, how stupid does a person need to be before they forget to breath? Women ARE very inferior and darn near useless in most job descriptions, the only thing offensive about that commercial was that they implied that the female was a harder worker, LOL, yeah right, those guys were enjoying their snack because they were already done with their work, and the activity which she finally completed was simply ordering lunch online

  • It's a fucking chip commercial.

It has nothing to do with the genders.

    Sigh.

  • @MsTiberiius Oh really? What would be your comment if the genders were reversed? "OMG it's incredibly sexist and demeaning to women [screams hysterically]"

  • @kmsoileau Oh yes, of course. Who are you, my mother? You know what my answer would be, because...? [Insert Reason Here]

  • @MsTiberiius Stupid bitch.

  • @kmsoileau Yes, let's go calling me stupid for being the rational one. How original.

  • @MsTiberiius Rational? You never answered my rational question about the reversal of the genders. Sorry, ovarian logic doesn't exist.

  • @kmsoileau Ovarian logic? Sorry, darling, but we don't think with our genitals. Unlike some other gender I know.

  • @MsTiberiius Wow, after 20 hours of concentrated thought, THAT lame post was the best you could come up with? LOL, typical lamebrain chick...

  • @kmsoileau Once again, you fail to address my original question. Obviously, I'm right, and it WOULD tick you off if the commercial had the genders reversed. #OvarianBrainsAreLame

  • @kmsoileau LOL... I'm sorry if you don't understand this, but I'm not on the computer 24/7. It's hard for you to get, I realize that, but please try your best.

  • @MsTiberiius While you continue to make lame and feeble counter insults, you leave unanswered the main question: Would this commercial be offensive to women if the genders were reversed? Clearly it would offend you, yet you have a problem when men are offended by the commercial in its present form. You are the worst kind of hypocrite, and beneath any man's serious attention. Good luck in your retirement with your nine cats and menopausal frustration...

  • @kmsoileau Lol, you're cute. I said the commercial had nothing to do with sexism, and I mean it. And if it were reversed, I also wouldn't give a shit. It's a chip commercial, not a battle of the sexes.

It's funny how you tell me I'm making lame counter insults, yet you're the one blabbing about "LOL OVARIUN LOGAC DUSNT EXIST LOLLLLLLL TROLLLLLLIINNNGGGG" and "YAH U TOOK LIKE 20 HOURS TO THINK OF THAT LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL"

Yeah... I'm the one making stupid retorts.. of course.

  • @MsTiberiius Your defective genes will never propagate, only inferior males will mate with a defective female like you. Evolution will naturally extinguish your perverse genetics. You are a genetic flash in the pan.

  • @kmsoileau You're adorable. Please, keep ranting. It's hilarious. <3

  • @MsTiberiius I am adorable, and you're a pig. Glad to bring a ray of humor to your joyless life. Kisses (puke).

  • @kmsoileau Oink, oink. <3

  • This? sexisist? lol.. its just 3 men commenting that 3 other men watch somebody work while they do nothing, then OMG! it applies to them too.

  • That is sexist! I am shocked that someone would make this commercial. Why is that woman allowed to talk? And someone needs to be watching her since she has a machine. Put a man with some Tostitos right in front of her to make sure she doesn't blow up the computer. I can't believe some people get away with this stuff!

  • She should work harder, then maybe they'd share some chips with her, lazy beotch....

wah, i want equal rights, boo hoo i want to vote,

    blah

  • @69HELLBOY69 your gf is not impressed with your additude ......equal rights heh guess no more chips for you !

  • Wow, somebody has sand in their vag.

Now that was sexist, but I'm okay with it.

  • What is so bad about this?

  • Wow, anything will upset you people these days.

  • I'm not sure what's worse. Living in a world rampant with tortilla chip related chauvinism or one that's so PC you can't air a sodding snack food commercial without being called _____ist.

  • I think if its sexist it is sexist toward men by saying they are lazy and never do any work I think the fact the one working is a woman has nothing to do with it.

  • yeah thats not sexist its just about lazy people

  • So the guys are making fun of a couple women that are watching someone else does the work, while they in fact, are standing by while someone else does the work.

So it shows they could be made fun of, same as the women they are watching. That isn't sexist at all. It is exactly balanced. Both sexes deserve the same ridicule.

  • i don't see any women standing around, maybe you have seen to many misandrists to know what is male and what is female? j/k

and if anyone rages about this, then it shows that they can't take anything

  • Is she making a samminch in that computuh??? hopefully :)

  • it's another example of 'Men bad women good" that the adverizers love to promote because they know that most of the household money is still spent by the wives. If men started doing the shopping these ads would turn around and start portraying women as lazy, immature and stupid

  • I expect they pointed her in the right direction bless her.

  • that's not the worst of it..actually I heard that the male coworkers crunched their dorito chips so load in the laptop tinkering, anal retentive woman's ear that they had to bring her to emergency b/c the dorito crunch severely damaged her inner ear. She was also treated for post-tramatic stress disorder as a result. She may never work again wa wa.

  • It´s just ironic , not sexist at all !

  • Is this supposed to be sexist against men, or against women?

  • oh, you poor poor femminazis.

  • How is this sexist against a woman? Clearly they're saying that the men are lazy because she is the only one who is working.

  • @abby12490 I know, but not many people will see it that way, because it is embedded in society that you can't be sexist towards men.

  • @abby12490 you're right but perhaps patmathis is seeing this video objectively and stating reverse sexism, that or he/she is missing the point to this video entirely.

  • @abby12490 I think the point is that it is sexist against men, because they are portrayed as lazy stupid ignoramuses that make the one woman do everything.

  • Nothing sexist or offensive about this. Funny commercial though.

  • You sound mad. why umad, bro?

  • It can't be sexist because this commercial obviously is science fiction. There's no possible way that a woman would have that important of a job.

  • @BeastingIt lol

  • @BeastingIt What do you mean by that?

  • @TheSonicchick79 I mean a woman would never be allowed to be in an office let alone be smart enough to operate a computer, unless of course it was to look up recipes for my dinner tonight.

  • If you're offended by this video, my advice is to not worry your pretty little head about it, doll. Worrying will just give you a headache, and you'll have to lie down on the fainting couch.

  • If it's sexist, it's against men. The men are hipokritical and steal the work of women. It's typical male bashing for get women to buy the product (they decide 80% of the familys purchase). Imagine it with changed sexes. Women parasiting on mens work. Outrage! Sexism! Negative generalisation on women! kill kill kill

  • Why am I not surprised this video and title come from a woman named "Pat"?

  • wtf makes this sexist.lol

  • That's why corporate women are viewed as bitch cutthroats (they didn't allow laziness) or they slept their way to the top (men have a stronger sex drive that women, scientific fact, which may be the reason they were viewed as "Expendable", I mean all men gotta do is put it in a woman, they don't have to carry a fetus or anything, thus women become a "burden" to the rest, people are social creatures). As fucked up as it is, it makes sense

  • it's sexist, but it reflects society. Ya see, Construction jobs are too rigorous for the unskilled and physically weak (i.e. women, as the result of men being the abundant source of physical labor, historically speaking), so lazy men allow the more skilled to do the work for them. In the corporate world, women (as a whole) have more to prove then men. Men (as a whole) capitalize on this, i.e. the lazy men, and exploit it...

  • sexist. modern style. slick.

  • what does this have to do with the product? I wouldn't purchase this product as they probably taste as bad as the advert

  • The ad can be taken as a sexist thing, but the point is lazy people, not women. But chaosaxis, it takes a LOT less than that to be sexist and offensive.

  • Um... That wasn't "INCREDIBLY SEXIST AND OFFENSIVE". If anything it made the men look stupid. Actually... Now that I think about, this IS very offensive and sexist! Men are being portrayed as dumb, lazy apes while the women is hard at work, taking charge and completing the given task.

As a man, I'm completely offended. Fucking feminists run Tostitos!

  • If after she said "I got it" the guys turned to her, told her to shut up and know her place, took turns slapping her and commanded that she get back in the kitchen -- THEN it would be sexist. Which is obviously NOT what happened. Quit overreacting.

  • That wasn't sexist, it was funny! lol

Though, it might've been a bit sexist against MALES, I mean, all the guys are acting so lazy and like jerks! Definitely not all guys are like that. : /

  • How is this sexist? It is sarcasm, I have Aspergers and even I got that.

  • She should've been working in the kitchen.

  • So in other words, if i buy these chips, I won't get any work done and I will become lazy. Great job advertisment company.

  • This ad demeans the men, like most commercials. Typical commercial. Competent woman, jerky men. That is the only sexism allowed.

  • @reggiecleveland

    I know, I hate that..

Commercials make all guys out be stupid, lazy, incompetent jerks. -_-"

Sometimes they are sexist against women, but I definitely think that they're more sexist against guys. But of course, no one does anything about this..

  • Comment removed

  • @Jarren202 So it's only sexist if it's against a woman?

  • @Deathbreak911 Okay I'll admit that it could be seen from a male point of view. But let's be honest here, how often are we subjected to male sexism?

Not nearly as much as female sexism.

But yes, I accept your conjecture.

  • how often? take a look at commercials, how often as men portrayed as bumbling idiots while women are the problem solvers, now how often are women portrayed as the idiots and men as the problem solvers, i'll give you a freebie: NEVER!!!

also in these days men have it worse then women

  • it is still sexist TOWARDS MEN, you didn't get that now did you?

  • @renardo3333 Not really, no. As a man i watched the advert and was not offended in the slightest.

  • just because YOU weren't offended doesn't mean it's not sexist, if that was the case then nothing would be sexist

  • @renardo3333 Okay, so were you offended by this? Are you a man or a woman?

  • i wasn't offenden, but it IS offensive, if the roles were reversed women would have it banned within a week, but because it's men being the brunt of the joke we just have to take it like good little slaves? fuck that nonsense

  • @renardo3333 I have no idea what base that argument has. IF it was this way it would be different. How do you know? Perhaps you are reading too much into a TORTILLA CHIP COMMERCIAL.

  • perhaps you're just not reading into it enough, in what country do you live?

  • @Jarren202 wait... why the fuck would it THEN be sexist. Double standards are a bitch I guess

  • @Jarren202 Wait, why the fuck would THAT make it sexist. I hate double standards

  • @Jarren202 Of course it doesn't demean women; It demean MEN! When you say "Imagine if it were three women commentating at the outside workers while one solitary man sat doing the work. THEN you might have a case for the advert being sexist..." What you don't get, it's when it's the men who appear as lazy or stupid on a commercial like it happens so often, it's never considered sexism. When it's the women (rarely) then it is sexism! That's a double standard, and that's sexism.

  • i but a S for a reason, but it is unknown to all of mankind

  • that right bitch do all the dirty work and let us relaxs

  • I think there's enough sexism to go around here. It's just as insulting to suggest most men are lazy gawkers who will blithely idle around while the woman takes care of everything, and then help themselves to the credit for her success. It's clearly a dig on corporate culture; but as a man, I'm pissed that anyone would think there's any shred of similarity between me and some corporate shill, outside of the penises. And even there, I'm convinced his general insecurity suggests a big difference.

  • Is this supposed to be perceived as sexist against women or against men, Patmathis? Cause, since it's the woman being portrayed as brilliant, doing all the work, while the men are portrayed as those who do nothing but criticizing other men without doing it any better themselves, it seems like it's more against men.

The commercial itself isn't sexist though, it's the fact that most commercials show women as brilliant and men as just lazy or stupid that makes it so.

  • @coccinelsucrer Aren't most commercials written by men? That might explain it.

  • @AmericaDevil

Well, men can also be sexist against their own sex, can't they?

  • @coccinelsucrer Of course.

  • this sexist thing is going to be totaly in pergatory if we say nice job guys women get pissed if we say nice job ladies guys get pissed. guys- refers to a group of people

  • @Freepepsi42 You don't call an individual woman a guy.

  • @AmericaDevil they just said nice guy's refering to the group which the commercial implies that women do the work while the guys slack off. they did not call a individual women a guy.

  • @Freepepsi42 "One guy working and the rest just standing around".

  • Maybe it's sexist because they inadvertently called her a guy?

  • @AmericaDevil whats wrong with that??

  • I am so offended.

SHIT this is offensive. So fucking offensive.

    Pricl

  • google masculism, support it.

  • Get off the gas!!!!!!!

  • How is this incredibly sexist and offensive? Maybe the bitch should get the hell beaten out of her and then get demonized for it like men do all the time in media. I think this poster just wants to boo-hoo about women via vague-ass assertions about stereotypes. Well, I'm not buying it.

  • @EvilsOfFeminism I guess so, given his wording about age making them replacable or something. It really makes no sense, honestly. Truth be told, the true stereotype lies with the men being portrayed as not working while the woman is--a serious leap in logic that females are so massively overqualified for work, that is. I guess it's supposed to reinforce every time an underqualified woman is promoted over a man to meet gender quotas.

  • I don't know that this is offensive. She's not doing stereotypical "women's work". I think it's just supposed to be a funny comment on lazy PEOPLE.

  • @nacsfinest yes and no

  • @nacsfinest

The sexism in this commercial is not towards women. It's towards men. It portrays the men as stupid and taking credit for the work of someone else. The humour in the commercial is that the people by the window are, like you said, lazy. The problem is all 3 people are men. So, if the 3 people by the window were not all men, then the commercial would not be sexist. For example, 2 men 1 women. Do you get it now?

  • lazy PEOPLE, yet it's only MEN standing around, now if it were two men and a woman you would have a point

  • @nacsfinest It's just that lazy people in the commercials are always portrayed as men.

  • Really? This is incredibly offensive? You don't leave San Francisco very often do you sweetheart? ;)

  • What's so offensive about it? I thought ti was funny!

  • I just don't get why people are so worked up about this. Yeah, I reckon it's more sexist to men, but whatever gender or occupation it's making fun of, I can still just laugh and take it in good humor.

Not everything is a chauvinistic, sexist, racist, homophobic endeavor out to get you. Lighten up.

  • Well, if the tables were turned and it was 3 women standing around while 1 man did all the work and got no credit for it, it would be considered sexism. This scenario is actually a lot more like real life. Me being the person sitting on the laptop doing work, and the three people (usually also men) standing around doing nothing while taking credit for my work. Sounds about right.

  • Indeed. as a self proclaimed feminist....this is the OPPOSITE os sexism. The ONE woman did what 3 men couldnt cause they were busy stuffing there face with greasy, fried, starchy snacks.

Keep in in context next time...

  • @Fire0Ballerina That's a sexist portrayal, genius. Sexism against men isn't the opposite of sexism against women, unless you're just a sexist asshole.

Keep it in context next time...unless you think she should have actually gotten off her ass and helped with the construction. Revolutionary concept: equality on shitty jobs. Don't forget to go dodge sniper fire in Afghanistan.

  • the opposite of sexism... let me wrap my mind around this... purely idiotic statement for a bit.

so... what you are saying is... because it's not the woman that is seen as lazy it is the opposite of sexism, as if sexism is solely about WOMEN getting the short end of the stick, so... seeing as this is the 'opposite' that would mean that it is a good thing, making the woman look brilliant and the men look like lazy assholes... you idiot, go stick your head in a deep frier.

  • I always liked this ad. People bitching about construction workers need to shut the fuck up. I work at a desk, and we fuck around just as bad.

  • THIs is sexist??? The only one in the vidclip who actually accomplishes anything meaningful is the woman, and that's SEXIST? Sexist against men, perhaps! This is the problem with today's society. If a cop stops you because you're speeding, he's either sexist, racist, anti-Semitic, homophobic, or in any case against whatever it is you are. No one takes any responsibility anymore, because it's always the other person's fault.

  • This isn't sexist at all.

  • The sexism in this commercial seems to be against men: the men are slobs slacking off and eating Tostitos, despite agreeing that it is unjust for members of a team to slack off while one person does all the work. The men are supposed to be doing the same work she is doing--it's not like they're making her fix them sandwiches.

  • I think the REAL sexism here is that the men aren't sharing the chips. Yes the idea behind the commercial smacks of male chauvinism.... but chip denial is a serious issue in the workplace.

  • Ya right. Don't know what country that was suppose to have happened but, it is the other way around in Canada now. Well, it would still be men out doing the grunt work and in the office it would be women watching them while the one guy hired within a staff of 200 (119 women vs. 1 man and that is what feminist call employment equity) would be sitting working.

  • 119+1=120=200? your math kinda fails

  • Just about every commercial is sexist. How many cleaning commercials do you find for men? None. If it's a product for cooking, cleaning, etc. It's always a women. Tons of commercials portray men as eating big ass burgers that will make them fat and since they can't cook, they must rely on Burger King to feed them. Sexism is rampant in American ads!

  • Women in the corporate world sit behind laptops in cute outfits and shuffle status emails around.

This is an ad for women. Why must women always be told that they're smart? Because they are less inventive, less industrious victims in need of more protection and regulation. Feminism is institutionalized nagging.

  • Have you ever heard of a thing called irony?

  • I think you should ask yourselves how the commercial would've been received if it showed three women standing around while a man did all the work. Of course that's simply not acceptable! But on the other hand, portraying men as lazy and incompetent is just 'in good fun'. Thanks, feminism!

  • i think its all just humour people need to calm down n take these things lighter... but if u did this with girl u would get an awful rep

  • Sexist for men, not women. But being a man, and actually having a sense of humor, I dont find it offensive.

People need to learn how to relax.

  • i see it as women propaganda.women rock & men are lazy big deal.people have to lighten up on social jugement issues.you work any job to the max these days being an empleyee your a fool.u are expendable plain & simple.

  • @Jewely2951 I must admit, I was confused as to what gender was being offended according to the uploader, I'm still not sure.
