Do they still use this studio?

I believe it was closed as a cost-cutting move.

When they did have the studio when did they even use it? I guess it's kind of like "Why did they move out of the city of Miami in the first place if they were gonna keep a studio there?"

Basically, it was a really nice news bureau. They would front stories with a downtown or a City of Miami connection from there. It was also a place where crews could write, edit and feed from. If I recall correctly, they would often have the anchors do the news there on Fridays -- "Fridays Live," I think they used to call it.

For the most part, though, it was just an office for the news crews (like the former Braoward bureau).

Such a shame how WTVJ has dropped off in quality. They used to be so classy! I suppose that changed when Tony Segreto left?
