This is actually not a rainbow but another phenomena called a "glory", and the shadow of the airplane is an example of a "brocken spectre" (pretty good explanation at wikipedia). Also called "glockenspectre" or "spectre of brocken".
how the heck did you take this photo out of your air plane window if the air plane was infront of the picture plus it cant be a different air plane flying there or it would be an air hazard i grew up with a family of pilots
Ninetailedkid9 is right. All rainbows are circles because the light is broken by round raindrops. You only can see the full rainbow when you are at the right altitude.
I've seen the same wonder on a flight from curacao, but then there was also a cloud behind the circle and the shadow of the plane fit perfectly in the cirkle. It was amazing! I wrote a poem about it because i felt really sorry i could'nt capture that moment in a picture. Nice that u saw it too and took the picture! Two years later i saw the rainbowcircle above my head in Aruba. Must have been februari, that is the best month to see it.

A few people are correct in describing your photo as a glory.
See: Glory_(optical_phenomenon) on wikipedia
They always appear centered on the shadow of the observer.
"The angular size is much smaller than a rainbow, about 5° to 20°, depending on the size of the droplets. The glory can only be seen when the observer is directly between the sun and cloud of refracting water droplets."

This is not actually a rainbow, it is a glory. It's formed by water droplets backscattering sunlight and I think there's some diffraction involved.
Rainbows are formed by reflection and refraction in water droplets.

Excellent! i have a video like that. The center of the rainbow can reveal your sitting place on the plane
