Have you read the Qu'ran? I have along with the Hadiths, women are not given rights, their fathers are and their husbands are. Just because a woman is not covered from head to toe does not make her a whore, how shallow is that. A woman should be judged based on her actions not her appearance. In the Qu'ran it straight up says that women are worth half as much as a man, and that women are half as intelligent. Islam does not respect women, no one did in the time it was written.

I've met some Muslims like that. They don't adhere to all of the silly dehumanizing "laws" in the Qu'ran. It may be hypocrisy to cherry pick verses, but it clearly makes some people better people in terms of how they treat others, though it does sometimes make people worse.

Have you read the Qu'ran? I have along with the Hadiths, women are not given rights, their fathers are and their husbands are. Just because a woman is not covered from head to toe does not make her a whore, how shallow is that. A woman should be judged based on her actions not her appearance. In the Qu'ran it straight up says that women are worth half as much as a man, and that women are half as intelligent. Islam does not respect women, no one did in the time it was written.

Today, Islam is the only religion I know of that keeps and follows the original intent of it's writing; for in Christianity, they do not. I've met some Muslims like that. They don't adhere to all of the silly dehumanizing "laws" in the Qu'ran. Instead of following verses that demand that a son kill his mother if she leaves Islam they follow verses that insist that a man put no one above God and his mother. It may be hypocrisy to cherry pick verses, but it clearly makes some people better people in terms of how they treat others, though it does sometimes make people worse.

In the Qur'an it doesnt say women shouldn't drive, if u look deeply into the Qur'an noone gives more rights to women than Qur'an, rights that would give them freedom and keep their dignity at the same time.
