Research or look at pictures of people from each Island and compare it to Africa. Each Island has some similarities to the background of Africa. They don't have to be in the continent of Africa to have an African background/origins. And since we talking about hair, majority of Africans have (4a-4b) afro-textured hair. So there aint no difference or specialty.

So whatever background of origin/ethnicity you are all hair is beautiful. Aint nothing special about Jamaican hair or any other hair. the only thing this video shows is that women should be careful about what we do to our hair and what we put in it such as chemicals and relaxers. Some women dont even like their own hair and hide it with weaves.

Im mixed race..Black jamaican mum and itailian dad...My hair is completly afroo i meen THICK THICK THICK and NAPPY..if not relaxed or straightend with irons it is unmanageable..i cant get a comb through it..so i dunno what too do.! I do moisturize it but i meen its shoulder lenght but where its soo thick it crnt even tie it back..i have a lot of breakage and my hair line is fuckked..!

@iroc31407 Well..i relax it but the breakage at the front makes me wanna not do it but it soo unmanageable if i dont soo i still relax but im lookin after the front and dont relax as much..but ive also had it cut shortt about half inch below ears..! and thinned out with lots of layers with has help as its shorter and thiner soo it easier to care for..! And well my fringe covers the breakage at the hairline soo it ent too bad lol.! my new style has made me a lot happier with my hair.!

People just need to be educated about their hair from a young age, so they will not go in the way of using chemicals to straighten their hair, which damages their scalp leading to baldness. Which would then need to be treated. Just be natural from day one, and educate and empower all the little black girls you see with natural hair. End of.
