@EccentricBriChu Of course most major titles release as pay 2 play. When the population dies out they move over to F2P to entice the population to grow or stabilize. I heard horrible things about DDO when it launched.. then about a year or so later and half a dozen updates, throw in a great F2P system... presto, I gave it a shot and had a blast with it for a good while. Age of Conan recently went F2P and looks like it has a decent F2P system similiar to DDO. Buy the content u want and keep it.

I wish they'd hyped the intellectual content first, but that is probably to be expected that it is the stuff that requires more polish. Ignoring that, this is how The Secret World looks for me right now:

-Character animations 7/10. A bit stiff but still better than, say, Rift.

-Character models 2/10. Come on FunCom. Humans are not made of plastic! (usually)

-Premise/ setting 10/10. The most refreshing thing I've seen in any genre in a decade.

-UI & Systems 9/10. Looking really polished.
