Hey I am a fellow speechie and I'm looking to help my friend out in finding a poetry piece. I came upon yours a while back and fell in love with it. I was curious if u could provide the title for the piece I would also love to have you mentioned as the collaborator of the different pieces. I'm new to forensics so I've been watching different events to see what they're like. I thought she did a really good job; then I read the comments. What's she doing wrong? How did she define forensics incorrectly?
@downthestairsigo Her definition was incorect because a) she called us nerds even though some of us are stupid(not me) b) Saying it just speeches and crap is disrespectful to people in different cateegories and if you dont know the true meanning of forensics then youre not serious about , even if her piece was good. It could be just smoke and mirrors

I love this piece. You should do it. <3 You seem to understand the flow and ebb of words naturally. Just watch enunciation...that usually fixes a little with memorization though...
work on anunciation; it'll help make more of an impact with your words. Measure out the plot elements: exposition, rising action, climax (especially!) and the intensity of the moments to match your voice. It makes a presentation much more captivating.
Of course, I understand that you've still got a way to go with practice and such, but this is a fairly interesting piece. Best of luck in the future.

This piece has a lot of potential. I'm not sure how speech/forensics goes where you are though, hehehe. But you can do a lot of things with it, I graduated class of 08 and I was a total speech geek, admittedly. Hah, but I do like this piece, it would make a great DI, I hope to see another video soon!
