  • Your argument that "The bones crack as he extends them for the first time.", if true, would be true for all times he extends them. As his healing ability would repair the cracked bones after each retraction.

  • that looks like it hurts really bad

  • there's a lot wrong with this concept.. they have to be out more than that or he couldn't bend his wrist.. they can't connect or converge like that..

  • where can i buy this ??

  • u guys are fucking dick heads.... we all know wolverine is fiction then whats the point of making such pussey video and commenting on a video like this

  • snap...

  • seems legit

  • he breaks his bones all the time :D

  • @protoalex2000 Actually bones are flexible to a certain degree. Beyond that yes he'd break his arms but with the slight tension on it according to this video they'd just spring back in place. Just like your ears for example.

  • @TheLarhf thx

  • So then how can he move them separately if they're fused like that?

  • @AdmiralJab thats actualy so true lmao

  • @TheSlyfucker Yeah, but apart from that and how short the claws are, he did a good job.

  • omg!

  • ok is it just me or does this x ray show that when he bends his hand the metal stuff will just go out of his arm

  • They aren't connected because ha can make them come out separately.

  • In addition, all they had to do is digitally remove the wires he holds, like wire work. That way, they can do the original's with the wire being where the claws once were.

Instead, they use the claw itself and thats why they are tall enough to come out through the front. The upper hand rip shows it all. The knuckle claws aren't a redesign, but a cheaper method of doing the claws, yet digital removal isn't that expensive for Hollywood.

The way they did it more mimics cosplay.

  • If this is true, then his claws are 2 to 4 inches long...

  • haha right through all the cartilage in the carpal bones ouch

  • Ow.

  • does it heel also just like a movie

  • How do the bones in his hand crack if they are infused with the same metal as the claws?

  • @starsiegeplayer they doesn't crack, they just separate.

  • @EwingAmaterasu The description actually says the bones crack, and I think that's what he originally intended. the triangular bone that the metatarsals for the ring and pinky finger is actually only one bone, called the hamate. The video shows it cracking in two.

  • @starsiegeplayer true.

  • Rogue asked him. "When they come out. Does it hurt?"

    Wolverine: "Everytime."

  • that looks painful...

  • can wolverine take them out if his wrist is facing down?

  • @irockdrums no, he can't.

  • damn, that must hurt like shit when they come out, bones moving and all

  • @squagglenater It also cuts his flesh every single time.

  • asians of the world unite!!

  • SSSSS, looks painful

  • @plasman1029 i don't know if you remember but in one of the films (I think it was the first one but I very well could be wrong) the girl asked him if it hurts when he shoots those claws out and he said- every time! Cheers!

  • @TheKille22 yeah, i remember that. im pretty sure it was the first one too

  • @ he sais it in the movie!

  • wtf r u saying those three branched claws are just sitting in his forearm nice and comfy? wat about all the muscle and blood vessels it will be cutting through to get there and wtf is those branch attach to?

  • @kilkolio no, wolverine borned lik this, i can asume that in the way of the claws, there are no blood vessels, it's like a cat showing his claws.

  • ow.

  • OWWW!

  • Really? These claws tear through ligaments and cartilage every time too? Well I suppose that makes sense since you don't see the claws coming out until they penetrate the skin, implying that they slip through the Carpals and Metacarpal bones.. Its a good thing he has super healing or god damn he would fuck his whole hand up by retracting them 1 time. Btw, the claws can't be long than the Radius/Ulna, if they are they would be interfering with the Carpal/Elbow joints, screwing up mobility

  • @sacr3 i have no idea how he endures the pain...especially when he keeps regenerating lol

  • @llwk62 regeneration doesnt numb the pain thats why wolverine is always in such a bad mood

  • @sacr3

Actually, he shouldn't be able to even move his hand or make a fist at all. When they're out, they still cut through most the part of the hand that keeps the knuckle together. They're tall enough to cut up above the hand and conseal the cheap way they went about achieving his claws, which was nearing butter knives between his fingers. No digital removal or prosthetic hand gloves or anything. They should have an angled trajectory, as natural reclining claws are curved all along.

  • wth there is no 480p!

  • hurts every time

  • odd...always thought it was from amidite buildup in his knuckles causing "sharding"

Even if they break of they can and do "grow back"

  • @TheRealArchAngel I have no idea what your talking about. Pardon my ignorance on this but I do not know what "amidite buildup" means. But from a more practical pov, they are adamantium (indestructible), no breaking. So elaborate on this a bit if you would.

  • "but I do not know what "amidite buildup" means. But from a more practical pov, they are adamantium (indestructible), no breaking"

The key mutant power of WOlverine is his fast regenerative ability

If I remember correctly a "mad Scientist" impregnated his entire skeeton with adamantium "just because" (proceedure would have killed normal person but Wolverines regenerative ability allowed him to survive it

the adamantium consentrates especially at the joints, especially knuckles = "claws"

  • @TheRealArchAngel I get that the rejuvenating powers of wolverine made it possible for him to survive. However Adamantium is indestructible, they would never break and grow back. Adamantium doesn't break

  • "they would never break and grow back. Adamantium doesn't break"

Well it's not like he'll get in a fight with Superman,Wonder Man,Wonder Woman,THor,the Incredible Hulk, Captain America or the other Good guys that could bend or break the stuf but magneto could probably snap his "claws"

His claws do regenerate if broken as his body accepted the metal/bone blend

Before the metal impregnation under the weapon x program they would have been just bone claws

    He sorta "wills" the protrusion

  • @TheRealArchAngel According to the story line behind wolverine, before the weapon x program, they were in fact bone and if they were to ever break, then yes, his healing ability would simply regenerate them. But there again according to the story line, adamantium cannot be broken or destroyed, only melted or in the case of magneto, flexed because once hardened, it stays in that form until melted again. I'm not sure of the way in which he controls it.

  • IT HURTS

  • I think when they made wolverine, they wanted a bad ass who has claws in his knuckles, and weren't spending time thinking about the science of it.

  • I said wow out loud thats great

  • i say his claws (which are metal) are made from the iron in his blood so there is no bone separations... he can make them and stuff as he wants, well when he is mad i mean, and basically what im trying to say is it is like fullmetal alchemist... he can make them from the iron in his blood like ed makes the weapon after being swallowed by that thingy that eats evrything

  • @Nora3625 Clearly, you know nothing about Wolverine :P It's adamantium and was artificially inserted into his bones. It used to be Bone Claws, but after this procedure, they became Adamantium claws.

  • Freddy Kruger: (looks at claw) hmmm he's got it ruff.

  • looking at this makes my hand hurt

  • i remember in the cartoon he would take out a single claw to eat his food and stuff lol this cant be right, but still pretty sick regardlss lmao :P

  • Oh yeah cause that doesn't look painful at all....

  • imagine the first time they came out.....so much blood and crying

  • I never actually noticed the physics and failure of this until I read the bottom top comment.

  • i hate it when my arm does this...

  • Awesome now I know the anatomy of a fictional character!!!!!! Now I wanna see how cyclopses eye produces the laser -.-

  • @HiddenLotus111 could probably find that somewhere -.-

  • @HiddenLotus111 -.-------------------------

  • This is the reason why i would prefer someone elses powers rather than Wolverine's.It causes to much pain when you use them but Logan has grown to resist the pain over the years

  • @TheAssassin646 then don't use your claws, stick only with the ultra mega rapid healing and ultra mega slow ageing :>

  • OUCH, IF THAT'S REAL...I DON'T WANT HIS POWERS LOL XD

  • I understand he feel pain cuz the claws cut his skin and separate his bones, but broken it??? Is adamantium common!!!

  • @wengaiden true adamantium is very expensive to produce and manipulate.secondary adamantium is cheaper and you can make more but you give up quality and durability.carbonadium i think is like a synthetic adamantium kind of.not quite as strong as adamantium but its way more flexible and easier to work with, omega reds coils are made of carbonadium.you cant make whips or anything flexible(that i know of) out of adamantium.

  • @tommiedepew1 his bones also is adamantium so how can broke it? i think the claws pass between the bones

  • @wengaiden the wrist is made up of floating bones,so yea the claws just pass between the bones.you ever tried the meat from one of those black hoofed pigs that they raise on acorns in the mountains of spain? someone told me its worth killing over.

  • @tommiedepew1 yes. thay are rich in adamantium to your body xD

  • Wolverines claws have to be fully extended in order to bend his wrist. Thats the only problem I have with this video

  • No wonder he growls or he's pissed everytime he has them out, shit I'd roar like him too everytime I have to use it for protection or in a fight, can you imagine feeling this for the rest of your life as you age so slowly and even your healing powers don't help as your ripping your skin over and over inbetween your knuckles or on them!!!!

Sorry wolvermine......but your still my fav xmen character

  • Oh my God that would be so painful

  • in the comics they actually have factored that in when they thought up the claws(eventually when people really started questioningit), because they in their canon function like how animal claws can extend out of the sheathes of toughened tissues and the only injuries he faces is the slitting of his skin. Those shifting bones wouldn't be like that if you were to ask the writers of Marvel to explain it.

  • It's much like Superman, in that he originally couldn't fly, and his strength was attributed to being from a world with much greater gravity. Then they started adding in that he could fly, have laser vision, etc and his powers originated from being in a solar system with a Yellow sun. Of course now that people commonly are quite a bit more scientifically educated, the "color" of the sunlight is just silly. Yellow sunlight would have no more "power" then red (on Krypton they have no 'powers')

  • While they may look connected, they also look separated...it could be possible they just move that way when all class are triggered...

  • What I don't get is how he's able to move his wrists.... At all. haha.

  • OneWng96 sine it's wolverine it just heals

  • DUDE, THEY BRAKE FUCKING EVRYTHING

  • @Medevnex have you seen the first X-Men movie? Rouge asks Logan if they hurt and he said yes every time so....ya I'm not trying to be a smart-alack or anything I just want to make my point and isn't this part from the movie X-Men Origins?

  • almost, but wolverines claws arent connected at the back.

he can unscheath his claws seperately.

  • @Milkmi1 that's from the shitty origins movie

  • @Milkmi1 true. or at least the middle one anyway

  • They should have made his wrist expand a little everytime they come out, cos in the xray, his wrist bones shift to the side. Love this movie, Huge Jackman is the best

  • That looks painful

  • I want a Wolverine DLC for Mortal Kombat

  • @carbaj that would be amazing!

  • OMG i get most of you have never read a comicbook, yes his healing power would numb the pain hes like a couple centuries old he probably has gotten used to the pain, the real question is, if his claws (being almost like 2 ft long) how does he twist his wrists when their retracted?

  • @dayleomighty dude, re-read your comics. his claws are nine inches long, thats less than a foot, and would fit inside his forearm perfectly...

  • @dayleomighty yes but like at, i dont know...you own wrist? ever noticed how when you turn your hand over the two bones that make your wrist cross over eachother. how could his do that? his claws would be in the way. you cant argue that.

  • wow ppl here talking about pain haha, its just a movie

  • Does it hurt?

    Every time.

  • @Medevenx Its like breaking your bones and stabbing yourself with a knife

    so yeah IT HURTS

  • Yeah I'd hate to say it, but this can't be right, I mean I'm sure his bones probably get separated and shit like that, but there's no way that they can be that long, Nor are they that close together, Because, in the first X-Men movie, he gives Scott the middle claw, which clearly says that they are three individual claws, also, they are way to long, he can bend his wrists in stuff in the movies/cartoons, if you look closely enough, so yeah, not trying to troll or anything :P

  • @leftyguitarist13 its becouse hes claws used to be like fingerbones

u know u just got the finger right?

  • @leftyguitarist13 You're right about them being separate, which would give the claws more length when extracted and give movement in the wrists, and when they're detracted, they store in the forearm. I think the claws are about as long as Wolvie's forearm, but it really depends on the rendition. I also don't think the claws move the bones that much, but this is still pretty sweet.

  • @leftyguitarist13 well god damnitt i want to see it in action in x ray because i want to know the prosses it goes through. why is it impossible to find -___-

  • The veins and nerves are cut!

  • @usuario91ful ayeah and so its probley why he has instant regeneration *or damn near close* XD

  • Showing his bones being pushed apart, that has to hurt big time.

  • how the hell can those claws push his 2 arm bones out of the way and through his wrist bones?!?!?!?!

  • thats discusting

  • @dragonwolfboy1 actually it is a horrible theory cause they actually show how he got his claws in the movie and comics, it is part of his mutation.

  • @BigAJD54 his mutation is not the metal skeleton, he has the ability to heal.

  • @CzarThePlezer He also has bone claws.

  • @CzarThePlezer I know his mutation is his ability to heal and bone claws I never said his metal skeleton was part of his mutation.

  • @BigAJD54 not really in the comics its mechanical, his only mutation was the healing factor

  • @logankennedy15 he had claws AND healing, the claws were bone before adamantium fusion, wolverine before adamantium is called

"Feral" Wolverine, the only thing mechanical is the Adamantium, not the claws

  • @dragonwolfboy1 hmm looks like some one didnt watch the movie and saw how he got his claws :/

  • @dragonwolfboy1 yea it would be if there was nothing in the comics or movies showing how they got there.

  • That gotta hurt a LOT

  • @brazilzabaks noooo

  • @Shippudenblade Deus Ex!!!!

  • ew no wonder wolverine said it hurts when his claws come out thats gross

  • everytime it hurts when the claw comes out of wolverine hands , i wonder can i endure the pain if i am wolverine ):

  • That looked uncomfortable.

  • lo que debe de doler

  • @Shippudenblade i don't mean to branch off the subject of the video but don't you think they already found a cure? can you imagine the loss of money the healthcare industry would be hit with if people weren't sick anymore? food for thought.

  • @xsixstring7 i 100% agree with you ! If a cure was ever made public, drug companies would lose billions!

  • @SeekAStrak exactly, not trying to start a flame war, its just something interesting to think about

  • This isn't right because he can manipulate his claws, like when he gives Scott the finger in X1, this indicates there all joined together, looks cool but in the reality of xmen is totally incorrect...

  • @mikynnad I really think they should stick to that he can manipulate his claws

  • if i told you how soon. you would howl soon

  • cool that is so trippy... now that explains why it goes outwards :O

  • ... Number two as in... The movie...? -_- u ever read any of the comics? Or seen the older shows?

  • You do realize that his bones extend out of his body? They extend and pierce through his flesh, logan was in the military and the government peoples coated the bones in the unbreakable metal stuff and yeah, it works just like that one girl with the growing fingernails, he doesnt have like giant nails in him, his mutation is he can extend his bones there and regenerate, also, bc he can regenerate, noone actually knows how old he is

  • @bensliverka Wrong, when hes was young he had bones, and in that procedure he had (that you find out in number 2) they removed his bones and replaced them with the indestructible metal, and btw this video is actually from the movie so dont bother arguing

  • @EmnestyClanAu WRONG thay didnt remove the claws at all like the other bones in his body thay WHERE coeted in adamantium if enything the bone claws on his left did get broken off by saber tooth in the film and in the original comics

  • @shzze they were bone. So they grew back before coated. Have you read that wolverine book. It was pretty dope. It was stating how they had nano machines assist the the adamantium process that kind of made an opening for the pores in his bones through the metal before cooling so they could get nutrients and help his healing factor. Blood is made from bone marrow.

  • @reddyreddknova Yea and his healing factor is constantly healing his body because of the adamantium on his bones which keeps him from aging and once the adamantium is removed he quickly turns more animal kinda like what happen to sabertooth and thats why sabertooth keeps saying that he is what he will be

  • @StarkImagesTatt2s He'd have to be more careful like Sabertooth. Think about the bone part. If they break, they won't grow back in place unless set there. The metal sets it there. Speaking off subject and on healing factors, did you know that Jellyfish have eternal life unless killed? Crazy.lol I'm glad mosquitoes aren't like that. Do you know if Logan can swim since he has that metal on his bone? Or if he can drown. Lets say he's underwater for a week and resurfaces. Will he be dead?

  • @reddyreddknova yea logan can swim i mean he only weights like 300 lb s with the adamantium and for the drowning thing i would probably say that he can probably drown but he can come back to life

  • @reddyreddknova Oh shit. I didn't know that. That explains why he reverts back and forth. I always wondered why he didn't become more like Sabertooth. His edge is just the metal when you think about it. I hate to say it because he's my favorite Marvel character but in my opinion with todays weapons, he wouldn't be shit without that metal. Decapitation would be easy with a regular blade from someone who knew what they were doing as with a 50 cal machine gun to his neck and head.

  • @shzze ur also wrong

  • @shzze only problem is that in the cartoon he didnt originally have the claws until after the process

  • @StarkImagesTatt2s yeah thats the cartoons no one goes by them cuz there not stan lee original

  • damn, i never thought about that before. never came across my mind it would have to break bones.

  • wolverine actually said that it hurts him when they come of .

  • @michaelforthriller yes but not because they move its bones

because it was his skin there

i dont really think his claws moved the bones ouch

  • @michaelforthriller Of course, he still feels pain, but he's getting used to it because of his healing factor

  • @michaelforthriller yes coz as we all know it cut throwt his flesh to come out o_o~

  • @michaelforthriller in the very first part of x-men ...and he says that to rogue !

  • @michaelforthriller .....When they come OFF?!!!! I though they came Partially OUT not OFF..I can't imagine his pain U_U

  • @DoNotInterfare i meant when they come out . You're right :)

  • @michaelforthriller but hes got healing power so its all good.

  • @michaelforthriller of or out lol

  • @michaelforthriller wolverine says that because he hates when he has to use them so they hurt him emotionally

  • @michaelforthriller But he does have healing and the very high tolerance for pain.

  • @michaelforthriller I think it would hurt at first but like anything else you do for a long time I think the pain would diminish after a while.

  • Anyone ever notice how in the first X-men movie his claws were a decent size, not ridiculously huge and still small enough to fit between his knuckles, but then in all the later movies his claws got bigger and bigger until they were freakin BUTCHER KNIVES in X-men Origins

  • Apparently Wolverine is in pain every time he bears his claws. When I first heard that, I thought it meant that it hurts for the skin to rip... this reminded me of how much it must REALLY hurt

  • he can't bend his wrist lololol

  • i wonder if the claws can rip right outta some1s hand

  • Hmmm Wolverine is known to be Indestructible Because He Regenerates and Regenerates and If he Goes into His "Feral Rage" He Becomes Unstopabble and Uncontrolable

  • @ZXavier88Z wtf thats off the game he wasnt indestructible until he got the adamantium coated on his bones and the reason why is that because thats one of the strongest metals next to vibranium

  • If Wolverine's skeleton is all Adamantium, why doesn't he have permanent grills?

  • @111Fett they coated his internal bones and his teeth are external (out of the gums that is) and did not get coated.

  • @TheMediaKnights

YOU'VE OPENED MY EYES FELLOW YOUTUBER!!

  • @111Fett no prob bub.

  • could u put that inside my arm?

  • ow gosh, the bones are moved ,out of their ligaments

i dont know how to spell the name of the bones in inglish and the other stufss, but i know then in portuguese, and fuck , that cannot be possible if the claws are that way. hurt alot, and how he should turn around the arm ? that bones moves when he twist the arm..

he should have to have the claws above his arm in some muscle or something. or he should have to have large space betwen hes bones.

  • @lordcapucino Wolverine has a healing ability. His forearm and wrist bones are made more flexible due to his mutation and his body heals the sliced ligaments and flesh after the claws extend and retract.

  • @lordcapucino It's just a comic.

  • Rogue: When they come out, does it hurt?

    Wolverine: Every time.

    IT WAS TRUE!!!!

  • man. tht must fuckin hurt wen coming out

  • this must really be fucking painfull

  • @martijnvan123 yeah, and plus he had endure them getting the metal INSIDE of him

  • is there nerves connected to these bones so these bones can move by itself? lol

  • If you measure from the inside of your elbow to your wrist with your thumb and middle finger and then take that measurement and add it to the top of your knuckles, and then pen your fingers, you will see that a real life wolverine would have claws that would be just a little linger than the tips of his fingers. These 2 foot long claws people imagine could never fit within the forearm. Just something to think about.
