@goldenhog I hardly think that the emphasis in a rap song is normally on the vocalist's melody rather than juxtaposed vocals against the bassline and the use of rhythm. Otherwise, all rap would sound like Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. If you have an acapella-version of rap, it's all but indistinguishable from spoken word performances or poetry.
