well if i had the extra money to buy the X version i would but im getting a 2009 XR in two weeks so i guess if the suspension bothers me ill have to upragde them some day. would u say the stock pipes have a nice sound to them? I mean the ones on my old street bob (stock ones) sounds awfully quiet. from the sound of the video they sound quite good...

After watching your reviews of this and the 2010 I think I'm leaning more towards saving my money for a new bike instead. Do you think this bike would be as fun after a few hours in the seat? dude, that's a great bike, but don't ever turn off the engine that way, unless you drop it. there's a key for that. enjoy every ride!

I would change the pipes for more performance based pipes, plus add a fuel controller.
There is a couple of exhaust manufactures out there that make a very good package for this bike.
