It didn't take me as long to enjoy this album as it took me to enjoy Manipulator. I liked this one from the first listen. Manipulator took me a little longer to "get". That being said I do think Manipulator was a bit better, it just seemed to challenge me a bit more than this one. In the Unlikely Event is a bit more fun though.

I'm a true fan, and I think it's good that they change up their music. A lot of the songs on "In the Unlikely Event" are just OVER produced. IMO, Thomas just over did it with the vocals. I don't know what your deal is, but you can't just expect to listen to the same shit over and over. Every album I listen to by The Fall Of Troy, is so different in many ways. I think it's brilliant. If you want to listen to a band that puts out pretty much the same shit every year, then just listen to the radio.

Haha, it worked out in the end.. I sacrificed crowd time at this one in order to catch these vids, but I made sure to spend the majority of my time in the middle of it at the Pomona show the day after this one. :)
