hey, thank you heaps for posting this. you have cheered me up, inspired me and given me hope. my little girl was diagnosed with Wegener's a few weeks ago and she's only 7 years old.
I was diagnosed in nov 2010. I had to have an emergency tracheostomy in Jan 2011. I am still fighting this disease. I know how hard it is and how it seems like it comes out of no where to mess up your life but your right, Smiling helps. I also try to take 5 min at the least to visualize myself well and whole. I also live with Chron's disease, another auto-immune disease. Hang in there. It's nice to see others like me. Thank you.
@P1nache Thanks. I really hope things go well for you. Like i said I know I'm not alone. It just seems that our condition is not as common so there isn't much talk about it like cancer and others. I wish or our story to be heard. I pray for you and all of us, as well as everybody. Stay blessed.
@Jhaven504 I have Wegener's also. Diagnosed at 15, now 19. I know what you mean about how it's not mentioned like cancer is. And I don't want to say cancer isn't important, it is, but so is Wegener's, you know?
@C101Yorkie Yeah, I understand. The more publicity we have on our condition, maybe the more they would look into it for a cure.. The government can spend millions on commercials and armed forces but rarely funds the country itself.. Just my point of view..
