I had Alien 3 on Nes when I was young. And I still remember your music 14 years later.

You did an awesome job. I remember the music of all the level I managed to go (the game was really hard).

Your music really fitted with alien atmosphere.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure this should be the correct speed (but I"ll double check when I can)! Any chance you may be used to listening to a PAL version on an NTSC setting? That's a pretty common way of listening to some NES music faster than it is supposed to be...

Yes, it can be! I tried to change some settings in my NES emulator and now the music plays slower... But not so much as this version... :S

Actually I have the original file to this game and it was originally written in PAL which plays at 50Hz. NTSC plays at 60Hz, so NTSC plays faster than PAL. Also, PAL plays one key lower.

@explod2A03 PAL vs NTSC is such a grey area in these type of videos, especially with me as I am PAL. I tend to stick with NTSC music as that's normally the default settings on my emulators so I kept it that way. I do get people telling me PAL's version is better and vice versa so I do somewhat feel like I'm in a no-win situation, either the PAL Europeans are gonna piss and moan about it or the NTSC Americans are gonna do it. Can't win sometimes.
