ok not sure how to do a vid response but i will figure it out i see millerusaf allready did this chalenge and i myself am going to enter, however i will be using a self made target on carboard doing 2.5" black circles and more than likely using my remington vantage spring piston .177 cal i would use my 597 but i allready have that scoped up and zeroed so i wont be taking that off

every nice shooting tex i was good back when i was 9 -12 shooting a win 121 iron sights i could shot red wing black birds at 65 yrd now i cant even come close hows the trigger pull on that gun

Call be crazy, but target #6 prone it doesn't look like it broke the 5. I can see the ring all the way around. Same for kneeling 6, I think you scored 6.

For our Olympic Style rifle competitions, there's 10 targets on each piece of paper. 300 points total is the max possible score. I'm not that good, but after a school year I'm scoring in the 250s. Since my Senior Army Instructor makes us shoot from the standing position the most, my standing score is almost as good as, if not better than my prone.

Good challenge, As an NRA instructor I think what your doing is pretty cool, I just spent some time teaching some young people how to prep for the NRA small bore. However, From my recollection NRA small bore does allow 10x scopes as long as the rig meets the wieght requirement. Either way your challenge your call.

I look forward to seeing some of the entires and I may actually give it a whirl...Good vid!

@derekgrebner87 The ballistics are much differnt then lets say a .308 remington, your not dealing with recoil, speed variations etc.. you should practice with your primary rifle, which a "Real Marksman" has..

22 magnum is good for anything up to coyote size. 22lr is god for coons and smaller. 556 is good for blowing a jackrabbit's guts out at 100 yards

If you can put a pellet in somenes eye you dont necessarily need a large bore rifle to drop something. Air rifle comp is crazy.......As a long time shooter and professional instructor Ive seen some young people that will blow your mind
