I do my own home recorded bits and bobs but I have never done my own gigs, although I would like to some day. Hi, sorry I realise this reply is stupidly late. On the guitars, erm, I don't trust the basswood bodies anymore, whatever brand, its a soft wood and doesnt anchor the trem well enough in my opinion, so I wouldnt bother personally, but its up to.

I don't recomend it no, I got a guitar for £120 on ebay that has a better trem than this, this won't stay in tune, I had a go on one in a shop that was an RG model after my struggle with it, had the same problem and it was for more than this one, im staying away personally, its maybe cause of the soft wood its all anchored to I dont know but the trem just got on my nerves, sharp after pulling up, flat after diving, id say the posts got loose.
Not bad. Need to start using that pinky though!
