  • This is no offense to the original poster, but how can you 265 like this video? He's lipsyncing hard, man. I would have thought there would be a little more dislikes because I personally wanted to see a Beatle sing one of their songs.

  • @challischill11 He's not lip-syncing, it just looks like that because the audio is out of sync with the video - Paul always sings live and never lip-syncs or uses auto-tune.

  • Abe Laboriel Jr.

    Amazing Drummer......YEAH¡¡¡

  • Vidri Banjemus!

  • Paul! you need someone to play bass on this song!

  • @alkire8655 Are you stupid or what?

  • @giorgiocesaroni I agree, why are you calling them stupid?

  • @alkire8655 They do that because there is no one who is behind the guitarists, and so they can ALL do solos...

  • @alkire8655 The bass is played on the keyboard

  • The man never gets old!

  • haha, the drum solo is very similar to the "Lee Evans trio" haha

  • fuck me abe laboriel jr is a machine!

  • 3:32 what a bitch

  • damn that was a good drum solo

  • Sir Paul on a Les Paul

  • How is it possible to be so perfect in so many ways!!!!!!!

  • 1:43 : OMG MY STRING IS GONE COME AND HELP :D .. and then ULTRAAAA DRUMS SOLO

  • ladies and gentleman, Abe Laboriel Jr. on drums.

  • That is one crazy ass drummer.

  • ringo gained a bit of weight id say

  • @noleesk he is not RIngo you bitch!

  • @111tato its a joke but ok

  • @noleesk do not joke

  • Excuse me, lady at 03:32.

Are you sure you're in the right place?

You're occupying a sit in this concert.

There's one person who wanted to be there.

    However, you bought his/her ticket.

Fucking move that ass now, bitch.

Looks like you need a dick or something.

Paul McCartney is there playing for you.

So, please, leave your problems at home.

  • Hey, thanks ntyg, this makes sense, I think I recognize Ringo's gusto in the solo, and the guitars are easily distinguished. Paul is really keeping up tradition in his concerts, with solos and guitar duells (or can one say triell?). lol, G

PS but who is this girl 1.22?

  • THE BEATLES IS MY FAVORITE ROKBAND OF ALL TIMES.

I AM PUERTO RICAN AND HERE THE PEOPLE JUST HEAR BACHATA AND REGGAETON AND SAY THAT IS THE BEST GENRES OF MUSIC BUT I HATE THE BACHATA ESPECIALLY I FEEL THAT IS THE OPPOSITE OF ROCK

  • the drummer is awesome...but in this song really sucks!

  • @kyussR You are right about the drummer. I've got the St. Petersburg show from (i believe) the same tour and, while he adds more than what's on the original, he doesn't go off like that. Some of the guitar was a little different, too. Maybe they were a little bored by then.

  • @thebird55 Nop, the St. Petersburg show is not from this tour. It's from like 5 years ago. And Abe had to improvise on this version since Paul had some problems with his guitar

  • @thebird55 Thanks about it! yes the guitar sounds a little improved...

  • hjahjahjajhahjahjahjahjahjajhahjahj lol 1:22

  • Come'on Kiev, who's the girl in 1.22? (and the girl in the end cannot be H, rather some native girl). So, please... can't u find out?

  • the drummer is really earning the pay!!!

  • awesome drumming and perfomance : )

  • Abe the Mega Drummer has been playin with Paul on tour for several years, and they always fused together Sgt Pepper Reprise + The End. Didn't Paul originally play drums in this song? And in the end, the love you give... (Heather seems not to be fascinated)

  • Who is this lovely dancing girl at 1.22? From Kiev or belongs to the party of the band?

  • @Golafsson: Ringo played the original solo -his only Beatles solo, although he thought it was dubbed with the rest of the band - he hated solos. The guitars were played by Paul, then George, then John in that order 3x's. You can hear each style: Paul's bending strings, George -technical style, John w/ distortion. Incredible music.

  • The End was not the last "song" the Beatles ever recorded together. That medley at the end of abbey road (which includes this) is all mixed together of stuff they did during the sessions. The last actual song they recorded was "Something".

  • well they also finished i me mine in 1970

  • of course no song is ever the same as when the Beatles sang it. This isn't bad though. Ringo still is more creative and coolerin my opinion. Paul still rocks and always wilL!

  • urcMD1 maybe you need to get over that the beatles broke up in 1969....the rest of us who were around at the time have.

  • that idiot completly ruined a drum solo but he isnt ringo i know

  • Your a idiot, he didnt ruin it he made it his own. it wasnt supposed to be just like Ringo's.

  • @Rush1013 he sort of did

    but he tried :-P

  • the last of abbey road is her majesty !

  • okay so for information it's sgt. peppers lonely hearts culb band (reprise) and after it's the song "the end" which is the last song of Abbey road album : the last song that the beatles recorded together

    Beatles, best rock band ever...

  • My dream in a concert of Paul is a start with the opening track of Sgt. Pepper's.

  • and the reprise of sgt, pepper's at the end of the show, because it says "we're sorry, but it's time to go"

  • who plays bass on that song???

  • i think the keyboardist plays it on keyboards

  • ah yah maybe XD

  • ALL OF YOU IDIOTS! ITS THE REPRISE!!!!

  • whats the name of the drummer?

  • abe laborier jr.

  • much to fast? Lol its the SGT Pepper reprise not the opening track

and this version is my fav!

  • sounds much to fast, he seems like hes rushing trying to get the lyrics out.

  • Best song to go out to ever!

  • i would love to see Ringo making a solo like that one

    Lol!

  • He did. It's his solo. His only solo during The Beatles. He recorded it during the sixties. It's not that fat asian guys solo. Why am I writing like this? I guess it makes me feel cool. I love it. And Ringo. And Paul. And George. And John.

  • he's not asian mo***f***er

  • Yeah, hehe, I noticed that t´he scond after I posted my comment. My bad.

  • IF I were here, I would have gone insane !! SO GREAT , a mujch better version that the original

  • wow that is a amazing looking les paul he is playing there. never seen one like this before

  • Comment removed

  • this really dose not sound as good as the original also it sounds nothing like it it sounds like he tried to make it sound new.

  • what are talking about you numnut? this is the Sgt Peppers Reprise..with the Abbey Road medley finale. Jerk.

  • Love the reprise, just as much as the title track.

  • Its not new, its just as old as the original

  • Umm, you know, in fairness to Paul, the "original" was recorded in 1967 and this is, what, 2008, in the video? So, gee, maybe, as one of the principal writer of the songs played here, he has a right to try to "make it sound new"? I'm just sayin'

  • i hate not seeing george john and ringo. breaks my heart =(

  • The woman at 3:32 seems a little less than excited... I'm more excited listing to this than she is and I'm just sitting at my computer! :P

  • Paul McCartney speaks all ur Russian badly.

  • fuck you - abe is amazing

  • you gotta admit this a good concert

  • Those effects during the drum solo are ment to be like the first effects ever i think. In the 60s when that effect first came out it was an over head with water and other liquids that someone moves around to look cool.

  • This seems to be a medley of Sgt Pepper's (reprise) and The End (from Abbey Road)

  • it is

  • It's like he's thinking, "Well if Abe plays a little longer than usual, I'll give the others a little more play too...Love it!

  • Abe :)

  • Paul still rocks, fantastic. and the drummer, wow. what a great drummer

  • damn..! :D

  • ANd he did it Again this is sow fucking great every time i hear it Its a present for my ears:D

  • One, the drummer is fantastic. Two, the guy who wrote"The Outliers" claimed he Beatles were great because they played 8 hour sets in Hamburg. Give me a break on that.

  • es un hijo de puta ese tipo!! me hace emocionar siempre!!

  • 3 lead guitars? LOL

  • no he was main rythym the other guys were rythym and lead

  • who are the two boys on guitars?

  • @RolandNeubauer Rusty Anderson and Brian Ray

  • Great song and great guítar. Paul still rocks!

  • the musicians are great, just the singers are not at all.

  • And Paul McCartney is god !!!

  • true that!!

  • Abe Laboriel Jr Great Drummer :D

  • pretty good drummer, but no roval for ringo.

  • please tour soon mccartney!! or starr!! in the US that is.

  • oh my god i would pay trillions to see them both on tour!

  • you dont have trillions to pay tho.

  • Well... no. I don't think even Paul has trillions. Only billions, sadly. :P

  • Gotta be THE best drummer in the world

  • Love this songs.

  • Two of my favorite Beatles' songs: Sgt. Pepper's and The End!!! Great way of the drummer to improvise and Paul rocks all time...

  • Nice way to fix the problem at guitar, giving more time to drums solo. Always Paul Mccartney...

  • LOL.. The drummer is kinda to big for those drums, anyway thats Ringo's solo, only it's shorter

  • i was there xD

  • Oh Gods..! I wish i was there...You all lucky guys :-)

  • Paul McCartney has changed. Too much.

  • OH MY GOD

    best drummer EVER

paul made the right choice with him.

  • thats wat make this drummer good being able to improvise in front of so many people

  • Great how Abe took his solo longer when they couldn't find Paul's guitar. Made it look seamless.

  • Kick but, love you Paul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • His name is Abe Laboriel. His father is a great jazzist in the world, the last Sunday his father came to my city. Saludos. Guadalajara, Mexico.

  • THEY ARE GREAT....

    MARCO

  • there is a drum solo. the same spot as the only drum solo in a beatles song.

  • Abe is Great.. Thank you!!

  • Actually I don't think it is Heather Mills. The face is slightly different.

  • Abe should get to do a Drum Solo, that would be awesome! I think you are right I think that is Heather! Stupid whore!

  • That's not Heather, but your right, Heather is a stupid whore.

  • And... I think that John's guitar solo parts were rushed, although they are supposed to be the dirty sounding notes... they shouldn't be rushed...

And... IS THAT HEATHER MILLS?? at 3:30... and then again at 5:20... and 5:32... Wouldn't be suprised, she certainly has the money to do it... XP

  • At 1:42 it looks as if Paul is saying something about his guitar, whether Abe knows to go on with the solo or not, I don't know...

Although at 1:55, Paul nods at Abe, which might be signaling go on until I'm ready... as most performers have all of this stuff planned ahead of time...

  • the 20 of this month.. Paul will play in Québec on the PLAINES DABRAHAM in Québec City it will be a great great show... and the show is free....... i will have the chance to see Paul for the second time.... last time was in Toronto in 2005

  • If Paul ever becomes "half the man he used to be" he'd still be better than the rest. "Getting better all the time.. Ed

  • This Paul McCartney guy he seems pretty good. Wink. Ed

  • 2 weeks on and I am still so happy that I went to this concert. Soaked to the skin in a torrential downpour to watch a 65 year old bloke play some 40 year old songs.... doesn't sound like a recipe for success does it??

I have seen all the great bands and artists over the years - but nothing compared to Paul in Kiev. Best concert I have ever been to bar none.

He made the rest look like amateurs.

And thanks to frenzyivanb for all these great posts... can we have some more please.

    Joe

  • Good for you Joe. I saw him in 1990. Jealous to say, but happy too; he is better now. Ed

  • If the drumsolo is improvised, than is that very good. This drummer is like "animal" in the muppet show, i like him !!! And Paul seems to be 10 or more years younger after the devorse from h.....! i`m happy, that he seem to be happy again! Go on Paul!

  • loved the drum solo

  • Paul had some technical problems with his Les Paul, so Abe had to extand the drumsolo.

  • really? it looked planned to me. It's the best part of the song if you ask me.

  • And the Les Paul Guitar looks funny, is this new?

  • yes :)

  • Wooow!!! Thanks for posting this. Paul and his wonderful band rocks rocks rocks. I hope, from this concert/ world tour maybe? will be come a dvd. oh man, Paul is sooo good again!

  • Abe kicks ass!!! One might say he steals the show! He would had it been some other star rather than Paul! Great vid!

  • i agree he´s the man

  • You bet, buddy!

  • thanks for the video

  • I don't

    I like the honeyburst/sunburst/whatever better :)

  • Thank you !!

    Great solo !

  • JEAH PAUL GREAT ALBUM AND SONG!
