well if you knew how much gold platinum was in a new cars catalytic converter your head would spin ........ lets put it this way ive seen it and its atleast a half ounce in a converter to meet the emissions laws but now cars aren't selling so why do they need the gold... its preparation for the colapse ....

Im in agreement with you, im a full time stock trader and the writing is on the wall, Gold and silver are going up because the value of the dollar is crashing but i dont have to tell you that. Are you going to catch a dip, GLD is looking good if you like gold plays. i may average in over the next 6 months as a long play. i never buy and hold.

i like it when gold and silver go down, it means i can buy more, but im worried they are going to drive the price down and then make it illegal to own and force us to sell it cheap, thats my worst nightmare. i think im gonna start putting my money in food instead.

I'm from Iceland so I suppose I'd better keep my mouth shut right now. ;) That said, this whole mess is a perpetual told-you-so from my end, and I totally agree with you. The one puzzle in the equation I don't get is this drastic fall in oil price, that's the single thing I didn't expect. I guess I underestimated the market, maybe OPEC was just massing with us after all.

It's weird. Being from Iceland these days makes me understand a bit better what it feels like being a Jew.

About the gas prices my father n law says it is false security there. People might think it down for good. From what they explained though is it is actually the eye of the storm like a hurricane. He was right a couple years ago suggesting the rise in gas prices and other financial things that happened.
