  • I'm not sure what the highest note was but I think it was at 45 seconds, it's a g#5.

In opera no2 I believe the highest note there was a c6.

If only I could hit g#5...g5 is the extent of my voice at this time. Practice I must!

  • @MrTaikutsu I have hit a c8 before ;)

  • I love this Vitas' voice. He is amazing! 5-octave countertenor with falsetto register... nice! Cute! Great!

    hahha..anyway..omg, 5 octaves!!

Do u know what´s his higher note???

U should make a vid of his vocal range..it will be amazing,hahah..

    Anyway, thnx 4 the vid

    ;)

  • I don't know what is the lowest note that he can sing, but he can sing both low and high, so he is not considered the so called castrato but a counter tenor voice. The highest note he can sing said to be the second key - from the right of course - on the piano which is the note B7. I just favorited a video, you will find it in my favorites. It's about the current world record holder who demonstrates a 7 octave range a male singer, Adam Lopez. Whistle tone! Check that out if you'd like.

  • If he can really hit B7 that would actually give him a range considerably exceeding 5 octaves, since he can sing bass too /watch?v=7BojJuYSOcw I think the low note in that one is B1(!) and he possibly went even lower with his croaky vocals in Good-bye /watch?v=i8IMenPwEsk

Is there any evidence of the rumoured B7 though? I've heard him sing some very high falsetto notes up to Eb6 but I don't think I've ever heard him use real whistle register (a la Adam Lopez, Nicola Sedda, Mariah Carey etc)

  • I was wrong about the low note in Poplar: it's actually D2.
