- Re:"every school in the uk is more like hogwarts". Since the University's Bader International Study Centre is located in the UK (the castle),Queen's fits your criteria..

- It's the ambience of the Harry Potter Room, along w. the design & location of the stained glass window and the overhead lighting that makes it feel Hogwarts-like...

- The Principal doesn't just quote Dumbledore, but as "headmaster" is also using HP to teach grammar.

this can't be serious, even the narrators name is Rowling. Hardly anything at queens is like harry potter, except maybe Douglas and Bader institute. My high school resembled Hogwarts more than Queens did, we even had an english headmaster.

There are plenty more QueensU / Harry Potter type connections that we never got to mention here. For instance the Queen's Principal recently tweeted that he spent 4 years of his sabbatical in Edinburgh, where "J.K. Rowling (was) oft seen in the vicinity". :)

BTW, you can click on one of Bryony Rowling's links and quickly find out why her last name is also Rowling. :)

I understand your initial speculation as to the validity of the narrator's name, and perhaps you ended up removing your comment after discovering that her last name really is "Rowling" (and why). :-)
