Well if u read the manga of this this is actullay happening doing Tsubasa chorincles u actullay see when they go 2 her and ask2 go 2 diifeent worlds.they even talk bout cardcaptor sakura in the manga.the anime is good but they cut out all lot of stuuf from the manga.

It is one of the cool thing about anime and manga: homosexuality and subtle porn, blood, horror, drinking and eating habbits, canibalism... everything really, does not seem to be a problem (well at least not for CLAMP)

This is not a spin off. CLAMP is making both series at the same time because they intertwine. If you read the manga for both series you will see that the RC:T characters talk to Yuko every few chapters which is reflected in both of them.
