@feckingbillgates well for one thing, i happen to like the nuclear man. it was more like the comic books, where there is always some villian who has the same powers. it gets boring when superman never has anyone of equal strength to fight. secondly, i thought the plot i destroying all the nukes int he world was pretty good, and showed supermans real heart in this movie. also mariel hemingway was realy hot!
@burtonrules123 How could you take nuclear man as a threat? Teased blonde hair, long fingernails, a hokey cape and he roars all the time. And what the hell's happening near the end when he's carrying that woman around in space??
@feckingbillgates@feckingbillgates no i wouldnt say it was BAD. ive seen much worse comic book films then this. even some of the crap they make today, i would still rather watch superman 4. heck i'd rather watch superman 4 then TDK or nolans batmans, or even superman returns which was so ultra boring.
@davincent98 thanks! i don't really like how the original scene had him revealing that he is superman and a few minutes later he wipes her memory away, it always seemed kind of selfish to me.
"[The Quest for Peace] is also more contemporary than some of the past films. Superman is concerned about a NUCLEAR HOLOCAUST, a message which is brought vividly home for him when a young schoolboy writes to his alter ego, reporter Clark Kent. It's a plea he, as Superman, cannot ignore so he sets out to do something about it."
--Christopher Reeve (1952 - 2004)
DO something about it: Focus on The Quest for Peace's MESSAGE! Do your part to help abolish all nuclear weapons!
I really didnt like when superman used the "magic kiss" as it were in the 4th film. I think it was kinda selfish of him. Even though in the 2nd film he erased her memory because she was in pain.
There will only ever be one true Superman, and he will forever be Christopher Reeve.. Played such a loveable character, but do strong in personality.. Admire his portrayal x
Lois found out that Clark was superman in the second movie, i think but he turned back time so she would forget. Does he tell her in the fourth movie or does she figure it out?
@Saraaa91 this is actually a fan edit that i did for fun where i wanted to show what it would be like if lois already knew that clark was superman and superman had not used his special kiss or turning back the world thing at the end of the second one.
@Saraaa91 but the thing is that in the actual fourth movie, clark flies off his apartment roof with her and reveals that he is superman, and at the end of the flying scene he uses his special kiss to erase her memory of his dual identities once again.
"For me, Quest for Peace is the most personal Superman of the entire series. It directly reflects what Superman should be, and what he should be doing."

"I had seen a television show in Boston. Children were talking about what it is like to grow up in the ATOMIC age. At the same time, people were saying that I had the attention of the kids and that I should take advantage of that, so I said, OK, here's a way to consider this topic. I needed the motivation to really want to play Superman again."
--Christopher Reeve, on why he co-created The Quest for Peace
@TheFlyingToaster65 in fact, a funny fact about the bond and superman series is that tom mankiewitz, who was one of the producers of the first superman movie worked on some of the earlier bond titles including the man with the golden gun.
yes, i am a HUGE Superman fan! but not to worry, i'll be posting more Bond and Alien trailers and stuff later on, as well as a trailer to the Son of Rambow, which is an indie film and is in no way one of the sequels to the sly stallone series, lol.
@videogamer568 agreed! the emotion and interaction between the two was much better. but trust me, if you think this is bad, then don't even bother with the original uncut flying scene found in the deleted scenes section of this movie because lois actually flies like three times. the sad part is that i'm not even joking, lol.
after a flight like that...she better have put out that night! ahahah...agreed?

This actually makes the scene better. It would have been a totally different movie if Lois had known after the third movie.
