  • @MiajahMarable Remember that the 1930s and 1940s was an era of easy listening, big bands and swing. Everything after 1954 comes under the era of Rock n Roll.

  • Jazz or Big Band as it was known became a huge influence on Rock n Roll. Perhaps more so than country swing.

  • Best songs of 1940 - 1949.... Now wonder why my Grandfather was so pissed all the time! JK Glen Miller was the first song I learned to play on the sax and I was able to play it for my grandparents 65 anniversary 2 years before my grandfather passed away. =)
