me gustaria tener todo el show de las canciones, todos los temas son increibles 101% buenos. saludos de william key desde venezuela elrockabilly777@gmail.com
Rare songs that Beck does right when it comes to rockabilly. Otherwise he is always a bit too late in tempo or missing a tone now and then. I would like to hear Darrel on this one cause he 's a way better rockabilly lead guitarist than Beck
Amazing musicians playing one of the greatest Rock and Roll songs of all time! To bad the "corpses" in the audience did not realizing what they were experiencing.
Amazing musicians playing one of the greatest Rock and Roll songs of all time! To bad the "swells" in the audience were not realizing what they were experiencing.
@TexasMist it's Clive Deamer, he seems to be just about everywhere there's awesome music. He plays with Portishead, the Big Town Playboys, he's on Radiohead's from the basement sessions, Beth Gibbons and Rustin Man, and more I don't know about!
To here P. Burlison playing these /distortionoctaves at age 71 ..search Paul Burlison and go down to (Rock and Roll Trio)..Last song playin with the Burnette Brothers and DJ Fontana in Jackson Tn... ck out Lead on " Honey Hush"
have you spoken to darrel and asked him if he thinks he is eddie? or are you talking out of your ARSE.maybe eddie was a jack of all trades but master of none and darrel is a master of the guitar.THINK ABOUT IT BEFORE YOU REPLY.
Hugatag: Just thinking the same listening to the new uploads of Jeff with the Imelda May band. On the musical diversity note, the drummer is Clive Deamer, who (aside from drumming on Jeff's Crazy Legs album) plays drums for a lot of Portishead's live gigs. That's some range!
Hey garmonbozia... did you see Imelda May and Jeff Beck on the Grammy awards tribute to Less Paul? If not then you must check it out here on utube. you can thank me later .ha!
This guy sounds exactly like Wayne Conn , Darrel thinks he's eddie cochran but can only play lead guitar when eddie played lead guitar ,piano ,bass and drums so how come Darrel doesnt?.
darrel is darrel...but does cochran better than anybody..except eddie himself...darrel is a multi talented musician..AzAC54 what are your skills? h'mmmm yeah thought so
The people there (can't call them an audience) have had the bromide tea. Insensible.

the guitar of JB is slightly out of tune...I mean his instrument is not intonated with the other instruments.

Darrel rocks the place apart, as usual. Were the audience composed of corpses?, they should be dancing in the aisles.

Actually, it was Paul Burlison playing the distortion/ octaves on the original..Two guitars on the original.P. Burlison and Grady Martin..

Very cool indeed, but hope someone has told Jeff that it was in fact Grady Martin who played these licks!!!

The guitar on the original record is played by Grady Martin, not Paul Burlison.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Its a competent version - Beck does a pretty good Burlison impression but Darrel ain't Johnny Burnette.
the originally was a premature piece of psychobilly - 30 years early :-)

actually darrel played double bass on the album of a friend of mine seannie foy
i have to say he's an excellent upright player infact better than half of the bass players ive encountered over the years,
despite finding him a little odd and moody when i met him
give credit where its due he's a top class musician
