Ah it is amazing when British people do an American accent, but it is dumb when Americans do a British accent! Iunno. Maybe it is because I am American, but I don't think Americans have an accent. If you really think about it. Americans(without a country accent or city accent), speak words purely as they are written with no certain accent on a certain sound or letter. Kind of a monotone accent, if you'd like to say.

We asked him which accent he thought was clearer and he said the British accent sounded much clearer to him than an American accent. He said it took him a while to be able to understand American accents. To this day that still boggles my mind :/
