treu i am a amateur supermotard driver meself ant it took long ant guts too do a good long drift ant more crashes :) but a footless drift can be done but not as long or flat as a normal drift so i think, ant sure its eassy for some ppl to brag or tell stuff i bet they cant even tell the difference from a supermotard ant a dirt bike not too piss ppl off here just me thinking out loud :)

We already tried footless drifts. They are only possible when accelerating or when You use the front brake at the same time. But when You want to keep speed sideways or even become slower You need the foot!

we screw metal plates to the shoe. Mine are around 8x8cm and 5 mm thick. One plate in front, one in the rear. Keep some space in the middle, to provide grip on the footpeg.

He's doing left corners only... Rights are way harder because the rear brake is then in the way.

But you don't have to shift IN the corner. You have to slam the rear brake before you drift. So right turns are harder because first you need to create the drift and then pull your leg of the brake.

he is drifring on the throttle not the brake. that turn was most likely the best suited for a drift so they filmed there.

Based on my knowledge, they hit the rear brake to slip out the rear wheel, and then hit throttle when they are in the corner. So I suppose we are both right :P

on corner entry you can use the rear brake to "back it in" but at this point in this instance the rider is drifting and that is done on the throttle. there is no evidence to suggest he backed it in just a drift on the throttle. I base this on my experence racing supermotards and other motorcycles.

damit kannst du nicht driften weil: KEINE LEISTUNG und 2 Takter... keine (richtige) Motorbremse (so driftet man beim supermoto). Bei einem zweitakter bremst man NICHT mit dem Motor!!!

fahr im kreis mit ca. 5meter radius.

immer schneller, immer tiefer mit dem lenker, und ehe du dich versiehst rutscht dein hinterrad von alleine.

achte darauf dass den vorderer pneu schön warmgefahren ist, kleine hilfe... so rutscht sicher das hintere rad zuerst!

ich wähle meist die taktik mit dem hochdrehen und dann den kupplungshebel unsanft gehen lassen...
