I love Alex & Stephen Kendricks movie's, Christ has Bleesed these guys to spread his word in great movies and the movie Courageous was my favorite so far. I loved all 4 of them but maybe where im a Police Officer and serve Christ is why and I know if not for God I'D be bad off from dealing with such awful and wicked things on a daily basis so many times Christ has saved my live on the job so i'm praying its to spread his word & save souls. When fireproof came out my church has a special showing of it wed. night. so my whole family went, and at the end of the movie my dad got up and yelled at me and my mom then yelled at me the whole way home, i was born and raised in a christian home but my parents are divorced and i think fireproof showed him he was a bad husband. anyway i was able to stand strong through my dads yelling, i found refuge with God.

i have now seen fireproof over 100 times i have the entire script memorized

My husband took me to see this on a date night. When it concluded, the theatre was TOTALLY silent. You could have heard a mouse sneeze on a cotton ball! Then applause erupted followed by more silence as people sat motionless in their seats and watched the credits roll. We own all of Sherwood's movies and anxiously await getting the DVD to Courageous. Took my wife and mother of our 4 children on a date tonight. I don't enjoy spending $11. to see a movie, but this film was worth it from start to finish. The storyline was incredible, the acting was top-notch with truly believable characters, and the message was delivered clearly and honestly. I was uplifted and moved, and admit that I needed my tissues too many times to admit. Thank you Sherwood Pictures for giving us a high quality product.

This would be a good thing if the men being influenced were actually truly converted. It can be seen as an exhortation of sorts but using emotions to influence people is not the gospel. Christ left us HIS WORD so that souls may truly be saved. The examples that Christ left us in Scripture are vastly different than just a "moral reformation" of sorts. You don't need a band aid, you need a resurrection! You want times of refreshing to come from God? REPENT AND BE CONVERTED! (ACTS 3:19)

I love how every movie they release have a theme that builds upon the previous movie. Flywheel was about what God can do when we accept Christ. Facing the Giants was about what God can do through prayer. Fireproof was about what God can do through marriage. Im guessing this is about what God can do through fathers.
